Well I see that Dorry made “good” use of his Catberry to send me a pic of himself all decked out in piratical gear. His Speedo with a sash and swashbuckling sword – not the best look, but whatever. Joan, he also “borrowed” a red eyepatch meant for the black kitties. He texts that he plans to give efurry girl kitty a lovely collar, yes “blinged” up with “braided silver from the North of Spain.” And tell each that they are the “only one.” Cad – totally!
PS. Festivities go on all weekend I believe – hope that you don’t mind our kits “making themselves at home”, AV!

We have a crew of grace o malley in the parade …. kitties are having fun, still dancing and practicing their swashbuckling maneuvers…… even Mac and Jojo are sword fighting …
The sun has gone down here and the parade is over, but the street parties are just getting cranked up … looks like a long night ahead! Will check in later..

Yeah, Dorry texted me to Pet-Ex his silk pyjamas and monogrammed robe as partay has segued into sleepover! I told him that he could just sleep in the “all-together” as per as home!

So many wonderful pirate photos…who knew? Yeah, I assumed the party at AV’s would be a two day affair. Mine took their overnight bags.

Liked the link about endless snacks for kids, Deb. I always sort of wished they just wouldn’t bother after soccer games. We were usually on the way home to eat lunch or dinner after a game so a snack really wasn’t needed.

ECB, I agree, feeding snacks all day and after every event just makes me crazy….if you do that then the kids don’t eat at home (ok some can eat 9 meals a day and still be hungry) because they have eaten snackage (yes my own words).

Absolutely love the pirate/kitty pics and like ECB, who knew there were so many?! But the treasure buried in the litterbox made me laugh…!!
Willow woke me this morning after a fly hit me in the face (WTH?)–so I guess he had been chasing it. After the third “jump” over my head in the dark, he nailed me over my right eyebrow with his back claw trying to get grippage to spring up to get the fly. Now I have a bloody scratch on my face thanks to a chubby, bottom heavy kitten that is NO jumper, LOL! Mr. KZ threw a fit when he saw my face saying he knew that was going to happen one of these days and I knew he was seriously glad it wasn’t him…hee heee!
Well, here we go again–it has been snowing since last night with no wind. Will be snowing harder this after noon and evening and overnight, just in time for Monday commute for school and work! Yea! Did I mention I was ‘over’ winter…oh, yes I guess I did… 😳 Joan, it’s heading your way when it finishes with us!
Gonna grab a quick shower and wash the blood off my face, later!
