Canine Mac was one handsome pup! I don’t blame you for spending the night in the couch for the sake of your boy – we really are all about the furry ones around here, aren’t we?
Mac just might become Comet’s accidental brother, we shall see.
AV, how cool that son is having this adventure of a lifetime, truly an amazing experience.
Sorry about the new programming. It is a shame when something that isn’t broken gets “fixed”.
Will be thinking about JK tonight – we’re having kielbasa and Pierogies. Wish I had some if those doughnut thingies. The Polish store probably has them but I don’t feel like going for the drive.
Deb, that video is too funny! I love that kittens are clueless!

Oh, the kitten with the mirror is too cute! I wanted to see more of him with the dog.

Buttons, your canine brother Mac was gorgeous! Hope buttons has a “productive” night.

We so are furry baby obsessed here ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜† Joan …

Hoping for a productive night too ECB I’m trying to make him move around and play.. The more active he is the quicker things will move along.. I even let him into Messi’s room ( our chinchilla) just to get him walking about which he did for a few minutes but then wanted out again…

The plan for Mac is to get him to let me pick him up. He doesn’t freak out when I’ve tried (which most cats do) and he loves being petted so maybe we will meet this goal soon. He is wary of hubby but allowed a little petting today.

@ Buttons – didn’t know that you also has a “chinny” as I believe chinchillas are called! Any pics? You sure do have a menagerie!
@ ECB, that Petsmart kit sounds like has similar colouring to Mom kit I saw just the other day at vets and happily being adopted, Olive. Almost reverse colour tabby with mostly caramel coat and brown overstripes. Unusual IMHO. And tks for Weekend opening – I could do breakfast 24/7 (and at times do so!) LOL
@ Joan – will your duo eventually become a trio as Max addy? From pics you posted somehow he looks like he once had a home (and hopefully likes indoors).

Did something I’ve wanted to do with the other ferals – give them a housecat toy. Tonight Mac played with a feather wand. Comet looked at me funny but I explained that he has 84 other toys and sharing with a less fortunate kitty is the right thing to do.
Leela got a great workout with her simple piece of string. She has more spark in her eyes than I’ve seen in a long time.

Good afternoon/evening all. It’s a lovely sunny Sunday but with a nip in the air. The washing is hopefully drying on the line and HRH has disappeared into the undergrowth to sleep or hunt.
ECB, lovely Cafe opening, we all have different styles. The cat in Petsmart sound lovely, I hope she has a home soon.
Buttons I hope that furry Buttons poops soon for both your sakes. Mac looks like a real beauty, our Nellie was a similar looking dog and her collar still hangs on the curtain rail, she was so much a part of our family. When I first met Mr MS he had a Border Collie called Mac, they were typical boy & dog inseparable.
Joan, yay that Leela is showing small but constant signs of improvement, it must bring a smile to your face. Oh Mac does sound like a lovely boy and letting you get so close to him. Your lovely nature will break down any barriers he has put up.
AV, son sounds like he is having the time of his life.n old fashioned hotpot and now the aromas are beginning to be obvious, delicious.
The slowcooker has been cooking an old fashioned hotpot and now the aromas are beginning to be obvious, delicious.
I have had a Monarch hatch this afternoon, a male and I discovered a little caterpillar on the branches, must have been an egg that hatched. I thought my days of raising caterpillars inside were over with Winter but I can’t put this one out on the bush, it’s too cold for it to survive.

Joan, meant Mac not Max LOL. Purrhaps he once was a housecat and toy is familiar? Could Comet eventually be getting a brother from another mother? You could do video on how to tame ferals and become famous like Jackson Galaxy. I’m good at creating schemes for others LOL.”84 other toys”. Now Dorry’s jealous. Had to explain to him that I’ve bought him numerous toys over time which he has summarily rejected. Now he is down to 2 feather wands and laser and seems to be more or less content.
At one of my jobs a “well-meaning” committee member (tr as Lady Bountiful with good intentions for others to follow through on) suggested that we do a huge fundraising gala. With me as only staff and no budget. My boss replied sweetly “nice idea, all it takes is someone to organize it and someone to do it”. That put the kabosh on that one LOL.
Goodness, Buttons!!! Please let him be OK!

Hi KJ – so much for the fundraising gala, eh?
MS, the local garden center is trying to hold a butterfly class, but not ready yet. Will keep you posted. Might go because I have a friend in NZ who has raised them. ๐Ÿ™‚
Lots of white light and hood vibes for Buttons. Hoping for good news on your next post. (((Hugs)))

Had to leave him at vets he’s on a drip.. :'(

I’m trying to keep it together .. Not sure what’s wrong yet.. The laxative looses everything but nothing is really coming out.. He’s not really been straining to produce stool which would lead me to think there’s been nerve damage or a stretched colon because of the impacted colon…

Vet also explained it could be FIP :,( but if it was there was still a chance he could clear it from his system.. And seen as he’s indoors only and has little contact with outdoor cats it’s a slim possibility but it’s possible.. She’s retesting for FeLV again but he’s less likely to have that too as he retested negative before and was vaccinated after..

I just am in bits here.. I can’t understand why or what is happening to my baby..

Sending heaps of White Light and Healing Energy to furry Buttons and {{{hugs}}} for hoomin Buttons.
Joan, I wonder who that could be in NZ. ๐Ÿ˜‰ It could well be fun raising butterflies, I find it so although at times frustrating but that is life.
KJ, LOL at Lady Bountiful. There is always one of those around.
Getting cold here so I have lit the fire. HRH wandered through the room, looked at the fire but kept going out the other door. She’ll be back.
Interesting article on the 911 cat, I’ll be watching that programme when it airs.
Love the parrot with his new bunny and the ‘two’ kitties meeting. That parrot is seriously cute.

Thank you guys .. I truly don’t know what is do with out your support.. Gonna try and pull myself together..

Poor Nutini doesn’t know what’s going on at all! She even came up to be looking to be picked up ๐Ÿ™

God I’m praying it isn’t FIP! If there is a fluid build up in his abdomen that would suggest the “wet” strain of FIP which is a rapid virus that’s normally always fatal :,(

I left my cardigan in with him so he’ll have something withy smell on it..

Your cardigan will help Buttons, just having your smell will be calming.
Snuggle with Nutini and tell her all your worries, it helps to voice them.

The cafe crew is devastated to learn of Buttons’ journey to the Meadow. They are all wearing green bow ties in his honor.

Oh how sweet. I love the green bow ties. I went to bed early (only way to get good sleep these days) so I was unaware that buttons had taken a turn for the worse. Lots of prayers and comforting vibes heading to Ireland today for those he left behind.

Hi ECB. Despite the somber feel today, yellow ribbons still adorn trees outside the cafe as a sign of hope for Lucy. They are replaced by bright crisp new ones every Sunday as the cafe residents reflect on another week of her adventure.
Wishing all the dads out there a Happy Father’s Day. I wonder if my dad got a “day pass” to hang out at the Meadow. Family cats Shaddo, PJ, Jinx, Chinook, Aja, his boyhood cat Boots, just to name a few, are surely more than happy to play with him and show him the edge where there is a view of everything and he can get a glimpse of his loved ones on Earth.
