KJ, saw you asked about Harry last night,
He’s good, he just got his stitches out and as soon as his boy parts aren’t looking so raw he will be, finally, free from the cone of shame! the soonest that will happen is monday. He’s being a naughty boy. He keeps trying to mark everything. He peed on my lap this morning and now i need 3 litter boxes in my room just so he will go in one! It’ll be too soon that he gets back to feeling normal again (x

SM, sorry things aren’t letting up! I hope that it at least gets warmer for you tomorrow.

Those ukulele videos MS … NOW my day is complete! They’re actually quite good … could give Toto a run for their money. But the tie headband … the sparkle shirt … looks a tad like same fabric as AV’s “cat-burgled” tutu, yes? ROTFL

@ 17:26 MST (5:26 p.m.) here in Arizona…Ms. B used to play the tap and tag, chase me game too 🙂

Have to laugh at the “female voice” too, I swear all the guys at work have it too….they would love to have a note from the doctor! I tell ’em I don’t care, it’s on a recorded line that I said it and if they don’t respond….ow well sucks to be them, lol. It was a bad week at work this week, mostly just for me with us being short-handed I would end up with double the radio traffic while not feeling good so I was quite grouchy…shrugging my shoulders.

The guy at work is the one who screws with his insulin pump, eats total crap for a diet and has been a Type 1 Diabetic since being a small child. He spent the last 6 days in the largest hospital in this region and they couldn’t figure out what is going on besides adding hypothyroidism, severe anemia, and asthma on top of his original diagnois and being bi-polar too (and I can’t spell for anything today, brain is tired or something)….anyhoo, this morning less than an hour into work, if it wasn’t for the chair arms he would have been laid out on the floor seizing and having that eyes open, vacant look while being unconcious, cold to the touch thing….had to raise my voice to get the supervisor or anyone to help home him up while I was calling 9-1-1 for EMS and ambulance to come for him…argh…hope that he gets the care he needs in the hospital this time….sigh.

    Cute video…

Chaos, glad Harry’s on the mend. Do you recall the old film “The Trouble with Harry”? Not that he’s trouble, the poor baby kit probably doesn’t understand what’s going on. Which is easy for me to say from across the wormhole. Hope that in a little bit you can put this all behind you and that Harry can get around to enjoying his kittenhood. 🙂

Absolutely, MS, chilled cider whenever you’d like some. If it’s late here, don’t worry, just ask Comet to bring it. He knows the wormhole and will wake up as soon as you call him!

You’re not slow, Deb. I got nervous about the language and took it down. There is something else rolling around my head, though, a bit more ‘g’ rated. Stay tuned. 🙂

Thanks Joan, just let Comet know I’ll call on him later, I don’t want to give him a fright.
Fingers crossed Deb that the message gets through to your co-worker that he needs to take more care of himself.
Chaos, great that Harry is on the mend and may soon be released from the cone of shame.

Argh I wanted a Halloween collar for him, as a celebration for his surgery going well, but would you believe there are like no cat Halloween collars anywhere around here?! Especially not kitten sized. I feel so let down ):

Those who suffer from migraines will miss Dr. Dawn Marcus, may she rest in peace.

    Joan, nice video 🙂

Jan, I don’t think it will get thru to him, believe the mental issue(s) have some fractured personalities or at least one other who may do things that he isn’t even aware of. He has mentioned before that he was abused as a young teen and thrown into a foster home situation until he aged out of the system and don’t think that the foster parent(s) were good ones but rather abusive (both mentally and physically). It’s too bad really, he has a young boy about 9-10 years old who needs his dad.

Chaos that bites on not finding small kitten size collars, can you make one or adapt one with cool halloween material?

    Friend shared this 🙂

This is crazy! I LOVE Roses and plant them wherever I live!!!! I’ll be doing this!

Did you know that you can grow roses from cuttings?

Simply cut healthy stems, place them in large potatoes, and them bury them 3-4 inches deep in a healthy soil mixture of peet moss and top soil. The potatoes keep the stems moist and help develop the root systems. It’s a perfectly simple way to multiply your rose garden without spending lots of $$$.

???SHARE so you can find it on your timeline???

Really Deb? Like regular baking potatoes? Who knew? I’ll be trying that. (Oh, um, if I remember. Should probably put something like this on my calendar!)

Real trials are NOT like TV! As far as sequestering, that normally only happens in Federal trials. I do it as it is a civic responsibility, but it surely isn’t entertaining. It is LONG hours of sitting to see if you are selected and then if you are more time listening to instructions….I am not happy at all, but it is a responsibility to my community. It also allows my students to see what they learn in Social Studies. I now will have to be at the school by 6am to prep for a sub then off to the courthouse–because I don’t already work 10 hour days and live in rubble. I know that isn’t any concern of the courts, but honestly I have had enough!

While fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, a man rescues a very scared and injured dog. The poor pup was lucky to have this chance encounter so far from land

Joan, I have heard about it before but of course forgotten when late winter comes.

SM, I have only sat on 4 juries, all drug related and were long drawn out events…

Very long and drawn out….not like a 60 minute solution!
