Wednesday 27-08-14 – It's Just Because Day in the TDK Café

well, word must be out amongst the feline hot line, that TDKers are the ‘go to’ people for strays and anyone wanting love and food ….. look who just showed up on my porch! …. I couldn’t NOT feed him …. looks so much like my little Milo (RIP) ….. so I guess I join the ranks with Joan, ECB and all of us, who are on the TDK feline friendly list, that’s apparently published on the cat-net LOL

OK, it’s about that time in café…getting ready for some serious relaxing…

Me, I need another iced coffee to continue with about 1-1/2 hrs of today’s fun part 2!

Quite a warm day here, hopefully not as hot tomorrow for the farmers market.
Saw sister’s fosters yesterday. Sadly, she lost one. Hoping the rest will be ok, but she suspects possible distemper.
Earlier Mac was sitting on his, um, my chair outside and I had to put the food bowl on the chair because a squirrel was eating his food!

LOL @ JK and the ‘chillin’ bird! … you and KJ let me know how ya’ll dinners turn out …… (oh, and you can’t share the bird’s beer hehehe)

…. little orangie (I’m calling him Milo Jr.) ….. came back today …. he must be close to kittenish, cause he climbed a tree to chase a lizzard, and then looked over to make sure I was watching …. then deftly jumped down and swaggered up to the porch for pets and of course, the expected noms …. (I’m such a sucker) …. truly, I think he’s someone’s pet, as he has a collar, however, we see him 24/7 outside, so whoever owns him is not responsible, as we live in the CITY with traffic and predators, and NOT a place for out-door kitties! ….. AV, P.I. will investigate, and see if I can track down the owner …probably a newbie to cat ownership and ignorant to the dangers of outside kitties here, so I will of course be very nice, but will definitely educate them on the unknown dangers poor Jr. faces ….. it tugs at my heart strings how much he looks like my Milo ….. I miss him so much, little guy, he was the reason I joined TDK, 8 or so years ago!

Oh on a side note sent a pic of Mr Noodle to “homer blind wondercat” on face book and they put his pic on their timeline 🙂 Me Noodle has had over 5,500 likes so far!! He really is following In Buttons footsteps 🙂 <3

Waves at everyone, squinting to see things right now (not enough sleep) so going to get a drink and then head back to try and sleep.

Hi all, half way through an overcast nippy day here with some quakes happening off the coast near a volcanic island. HRH has just wandered inside and headed to her room(formerly known as Airy’s room)for a nap. She has taken to spending the afternoon and evening asleep and nipping outside for a quick comfort stop before coming back in for a late meal and a nights sleep. She isn’t eating much lately either so I may take her to the v-e-t if she keeps that up.
I love the pics today and JK’s chillin chicken has always made me laugh.

Hi litter mates! I’m dead tired and ready to rest my aching head. Not terrible, but just enough to be annoying. The raccoons are having their nightly squabble in the backyard. Fortunately they keep their distance and Mac is safe in his/my chair on the back steps.
Sipping on a delicious virtual bevvie and lounging in the TDK hot tub. I like how the kitties open the roof so you are inside but also outside. No ‘skeeters either! The occasional light snowfall is a nice touch. How awesome are the agency kitties?
MS, that rocking & rolling must be a bit unsettling. Stay safe. Hope Shadz feels better.
