Hey all – love the pics. The new kitten smell, awww! Nighty night MS.
Snow day here today. Many schools closed last night – got my call during the early morning hours (Wasn’t going to go in anyway, figured the ride home would be rough).
Leela doesn’t seem to mind, she is snoring at my feet. Comet was up earlier but probably figured I was being lazy again. Mac spent the night in, and I doubt he will be going out today.
I think it is raining now, but is supposed to quickly change to snow. Apparently heaps of it. I have no where to go, so as long as power stays on, let it snow!

I shop year round for people, so my Christmas shopping is all done already !!!

I’m only up to get some French toast, hot tea, bacon, cocoa, and a cute cuddly companion to share it with, please ???

for the holidays, I’ve colored my hair medium reddish brown – looks great !!!

Hi Cheri – good for you on the shopping! Looks like a couple of cuddly teen tabby cats are purring their way through the wormhole to you. And you colored your hair – awesome!
I won’t be going out on Black Friday, but I always go out for small business Saturday. Supporting local business is important to me and I hope to get lots done. I will probably take advantage of cyber Monday deals.

Glad you get a snow day today, Joan. How’s Mac doing with the litterbox these days?

I got a little crazy and made pumpkin pancakes on a Wednesday! Close to a holiday, but we are still doing school and cleaning a house this afternoon. We’ll leave after lunch tomorrow for a dinner time meal in Tampa…then on to hubby’s parents house in Winter Garden after that. After talking to hubby’s aunt yesterday, I made 32 yeast rolls and stuck them in the freezer (they reheat really well). I’ll make an apple pie tomorrow morning. Everyone brings a side, so hubby’s aunt just has to make the turkey, stuffing and a pumpkin and pecan pie…plenty of work still with 20-25 expected. I’ll miss being a hostess, but love spending time with hubby’s parents, so should be a nice weekend.

Mac is doing ok with the bigger litterbox. I keep a towel under it just in case, but so far so good. I don’t really like where it is, but until he is ready to share Comet’s it stays there.
The rain changed to snow around 8am. Glad I’m not flying – Newark, JFK and Laguardia have cancellations and delays already.

Goodness, LOVE the pics today! New kittens smell….aahhhh, yes just like Avery’s new baby smell, LOL! Joan, thought of you with the snow: I LOVE SNOW DAYS! And, like you, as long as the power is on, I’m good. The stove keeps us warm, but gotta have a toilet. Only once have I had to go to the barn, LOL, didn’t like it one bit as cows are nosey…. 🙄
I don’t do black friday either, but do shop online. And since our dinner isn’t until Saturday with girls going other places on Thanksgiving, I may try to get most of my shopping done online. I can then just do the fun stuff locally. The cat pic above reminded me of myself with the free shipping…MUST FIND SOMETHING TO BUY!

So here is Breakfast Cat delivering your custom ordered brekkie. Keep him with you for as long as you like, as long as he’s back in Café in time for breakfast, meaning whenever! 😉

Buttons, Ms Moneypenny is adorable!!! Her callie colouring is awesome and she looks to be so floofy and well fed! Also that’s some play set-up that you’ve got going there. Dorry is jealous (he’s also in love!) LOL
Joan, a snow day? Already? Here it’s bone dry outside but have been warned it’s cold. Not to worry, I’m sure that we’ll get our allotted share of snow here in due time, Ma Nature is just being lenient on the peeps who head to AV’s/Deb’s areas for next 5 mos or so. So sorry that you can’t go into “that place” today – not! 😉
Well, all know that I love shopping, be it online, in purrson or whatever. Also nice when I don’t have to spend my $$$. As in friend asked for my free services as purrsonal stylist. She needs new stuff and doesn’t know where to start. My system: 3 piles of stuff as in: keep/toss/donate. And we move on from there. In other circumstances I would have loved to have been purrsonal shopper/stylist.
I hear you KZ, I’m so citified that power outage freaks me out, and if I had to go outside for my “necessities”, would not be good. Camping in the great outdoors and KJ? Not! LOL. Online shopping too – free shipping is my call to start clicking. When pkg arrives for a sec forget that credit card statement will also be arriving in due course, ’cause it feels like someone sent me a gift! Well awaiting Hanukkah gift to self as 3 sweaters-worth of yarn at Black Fri sale prices – amazing! Approx $22 ea, fine wool and I don’t factor in cost of time making them as it’s my hobby.

Shoes JK – yes!!! Saw a pr in store window with my name written on them, even BFF announced that they were “me”. Asked price and point in time they might be “me” but are not on my budget. I believe that they’ll eventually go on sale as way expensive and usually my small size is still in stock. Not that I need or have room for more shoes, but …
Have to check out what’s left of pie selection, ie what will go with maple syrup LOL.

Have a sign at shoe shop – life is short – buy the shoes! Hey, have to have a hobby or collection of some sort! 😉
Hmm, maple syrup on pie – that still is ?? But maybe drizzled on some versions or with ice cream as alamode addy! 😀

Maple syrup on everything JK – just come to a cabane a sucre (sugar shack) in early Spring hereabouts and you’ll discover exactly what I mean LOL. And as coincidence would have it, a friend sent me that exact “life is short…” phrase! At least I’m not going the way nor ever will go the way of “Imelda M.” 😉

High paws on the not liking power outages! The snow is coming down like crazy, several inches on the ground already. It was about 70 degrees 2 days ago! I don’t have a barn to go to (& nosy cows!), but when the lake is not frozen, we bring a bucket down to fill with water so we can flush the toilet. Further, no power equals no TDK!
Eyeing up a pair of low boots. I want them now, but kind of waiting to see if they will come down in price.

Wow Joan – stay safe…hmm, sounds like roughing it – rustic/fun…just like years ago Up North!

Boots very rarely go on sale at shop until season’s end unless it’s a mild winter…which isn’t in the forecast for this year either!
Need a warmer on my java & back to more fun part 1…
