So I picked up granddaughters from the bus, with Avery in tow, and took them all grocery shopping with me. It’s fun really, and the older girls are so much help and Avery jibbers at people as they walk by. So it had rained earlier, and the sun was shining when we went in, and good grief when it was time to go to the car it was POURING SOME KIND OF SLOP!! Sloppy drops half frozen, of course I didn’t wear a hoodie so when I got into the car and shook out my hair, I looked like a wet cat. The older girls were laughing at my hair, and then Avery chimed in too, not to be left out of the fun. It is surely cold now, and the wood stove feels quite wonderful.
KJ, I have never heard of fries, with curds and gravy! I like curds and fries and gravy, just never heard of them together! Probably because I live in the Midwest. Here it’s fries, with chili on top. Just give me plain fries–extra crispy please… ๐
JJ, love hearing about your cat menagerie…and the little black cat that ‘could’!
PG, has it warmed up at your house yet? Do your cats stay in your backyard when they go outside? Or do you have to worry about the streets where you live?
