    Crossover pic –

I remember listening to the moon landing on the school radio and missing a double maths lesson. 😀

Catch you all on the far side.

Wow…how fun is is to read all these Monday pics knowing we’re two days past it! Never seen a black/white cat labeled purgatory cat…funny!

Cleaning Wednesday house today. Hubby went to tour his new office yesterday. (Coincidentally, the counseling office is moving to a different part of town one month before his residency ends.) They are applying his name to the front door and let him choose an office so they must be planning on keeping him around. And he said his name isn’t just on a post it note…lol. We knew things were looking like they were headed in this direction, but I guess things just don’t feel official because he can’t apply for his license til Aug. 9. And none of this can be official til he has it.

Happy Hump Day all! I’m drowsy this morning, what’s new, huh? 😆 Very busy day yesterday, didn’t even get to post here. Read the thread, then got interrupted and never got back to it.
Getting steadily hotter here toward the end of the week with heat index at 105* on Friday and Saturday. Ugh. I really don’t enjoy that, but sure would appreciate any rain anyone wants to send our way!
Love the Monday/Moon Day pics…did anyone SEE the moon last night?! It was full, round, and HUGE!!

Good morning – moon day is awesome, and it’s a full one this year, cool! Remember, when looking at the moon, give it a wink in memory of Neil Armstrong. I had to wait till it was well into the sky last night in order to see it as it rose over the trees. It was beautiful and so big! Louie was feeling the full moon and insisted on playing like a housecat!
Watching a full moon rise over the ocean is incredible.
Heard about those gale winds, MS, and even a tornado? Yikes! Glad it has calmed down.
Sorry about the chronic dry eye, KJ. I have seen a commercial about it. Doesn’t look pleasant; at least it’s treatable.
How exciting for hubby to choose his office and have his name on it already, ECB! I’m so glad to hear things are moving in the direction you had expected and hoped.
That heat is headed this way too, KZ. This morning is very nice, but the heat is expected to hit tomorrow and really settle in on Friday.

Well ECB, Basement Cat is black, Ceiling Cat is white, so I guess that it makes sense that Purgatory Cat would be black/white. 😉
Name on door bodes well for hubby getting perm job – so refreshing to hear about someone who enjoys their work.
Tks JJ, the srs drops help and dry eye is prob for duration. Was sorta, well lots o’ fun to buy all new eye m/u.
Feel a bit out of sorts as now going to evening spin class. Like at loose ends during day. So trying to get things done. Plan to go to n’hood library to clean up my emails on main server, there must be thousands stashed (all prob junk) since IP upgraded and I could not get with program as browser is older than any of us LOL.
Same weather headed this way. And same progression predicted. Guess that’s something you KZ and I also share in common aside from our love for kits and being totally awesome (then again this applies to all TDKers) whatever the locale/weather. 😉
Was actually fun at dentist yest as he’s such a nice guy, so gentle, does all the cleaning etc., himself instead of foisting patients on to an assistant, unless he needs assistance for procedure. Big plus is chatting with assistant about our kits. She is owned by Hubert, a stunningly plush grey Tonkinese and Miss Cara a Cornish Rex calico, fun to see wavy fur on a kitty. And those big Cornish Rex ears.

Morning all! … pretty flowers, Joan, and cute pics today everyone! I had to LOL at my favorite radio station yesterday, I love to listen to it in the afternoons when I’m in the kitchen cooking dinner (Mr. AV installed an under the counter radio/CD player for me) …. anywhoo, they were talking about the funniest ‘what dads do when they’re minding the kids’ …… the top 3 were:
    1) Mom gets a call from daycare. She then calls husband and says ‘did you send Susie to school without a shirt?’ …. Dad – ‘I sent her in that thingy’ …. Mom ‘you mean overralls?’ you’re supposed to wear a shirt under them …
    2) Mom had to go to work early, starting back after pregnancy leave …. Dad was going to bring baby in later on to meet the office. He arrives with baby, dressed in a white robe – open down the front …. Mom says ‘where did you get that robe?’ … Dad, it was on older Son’s bed in his room, and it’s real soft so I put it on her’ …. Mom ‘that came off his stuffed Yoda toy’ …. not only did her office meet baby for the first time in a Yoda robe, but come to find out, they had gone to the grocery store and run errands all over town!
    3) Another Dad is left to dress the baby, and Mom rushes home to get the child so she can take her somewhere. Dad is all smiles, baby is dressed in an outfit Mom did not recognize … ‘where did you get that outfit?’ ….. Dad ‘there’s a whole bunch of clothes folded up in that drawer over there’ ….. Mom – that’s the build a bears’ clothes – didn’t the tail hole give you a clue?

Thought ya’ll might enjoy those, those of us with kids can certainly relate!

Thanks Av, enjoy discovering flowers in n’hood as pretties amidst asphalt!

Boss brought us some cool treats to ward off heat stroke this afternoon!
(You can tell he has a 3 and 7 year old along w/18 year old – wife’s prev marriage)
    fudge bar
Yum – fudge bars plus frozen Snickers treats. I chose obvious 🙂
OK, doing end of day here…be back on flip as Thooorsday…later all!

Yummmm, fudgecicles! That spelling looks wrong! hehe!
AV, had to laugh about the men dressing the babies….seriously, they have a different take on everything about caring for a baby. Saw some stuff on FB the other day and it was just hilarious.
KJ, thanks for thinking I’m totally awesome (as are all TDKers, like you said) but it’s nice to hear it now and again.. 😀 and glad that your eye is working itself to wellness. And it IS fun to buy all new makeup–so many products, so many decisions!!

AV, men, what can I say that has not already been said! *Sigh and LOL*
Yup KZ, I now have eyeshadows in just about every shade. They come in sets which is for sure way fun. And “sigh” my drops/lid cleanser are now part of my daily regimen like furever. Oh well dry eye way better than infection.
Just got back from evening spin class. Might be the toughest class of the week but I walk home on an unbelievable high. Trying to chill so that I can get some noms in me, Dorry of course gets fed as soon as I get in, lest he starve or give me the “stink-eye” or get back at me in the way that only kits can!
