Uh oh ! Something happened when I was posting and I got a double post and then KJ’s Cafe post and pics and mine too disappeared. Sorry if I did that but not sure. I hope you are able to repost the great pics KJ.

I think I had better go to bed before anything else disappears into the ether.

Night night, MS. Oopsie on disappearing today’s cafe…lol. I did get to see KJ’s pics briefly this morning…very cute.

So, if your kitties help you with taxes, have them wear gloves. Receipts have icky chemicals in them (including bpa I think). Leo loves them, the chemicals have a catnip effect on him (as bleach does) so I have to bury them in my purse. Nip only for my chemical loving boy. Funny that my highest strung kitty gravitates toward the mood altering substances.

Morning EC, and Night MS! …… I had forgotten today was tax deadline, until I saw the Café today! …. Mr. OCD AV always gets things to our accountant on like Jan. 2, so I don’t even think about things in April! LOL …..

…. Big Sal was at the door when I got up this morning, and Abby’s little brown face was pressed against the glass, tail switching back/forth …. so cute!

…. Abby loves nip too, I have a mousie toy with a velcroe pouch on it’s back that you fill with nip, and can replace it when the nip gets old …. she loves it, and will roll on it and bunny kick it for a good 20 min. when I refill it for her ….

…. boy oh boy, the hot weather won’t let up here, and now the Gulf temps are in the 80s ….. Summer is here, we completely missed Spring! …. hope everyone has a great Wednesday …. my Hazel person is coming today (yay!), and I’ve got tons of inputting to do! …. have a happy, all!

Aww, Abby is having a good day! Sorry about the instant summer, AV. It is nice here today, though it’s windy again.
Just saw on the news that credit card use is on the decline. It seems a good percentage of the millennial generation have never had one. Didn’t indicate whether they have debit cards though. When I became of age, I went and got the 3 major cards, which I still have. Hardly ever use them though, unless shopping online or the unexpected high dollar purchase, which is rare for me.

G’morning all! It’s the taxman, I’m sure it’s the taxman! Our taxes have to be filed before the end of February since we are farmers so April 15 is no sweat for us, except that it’s one of my granddaughters’ birthday! We are celebrating it with cake and a party on Sat. but tonight we are all going to dinner to celebrate the occasion! She will be 11! Unbelievable.
Well, I hope the gremlins are appeased at taking KJ’s pics and cafe, but that won’t deter us!

It must so funny watching Miss Abby guarding her space! I feel for you, AV. It’s getting chilly here so I’ll direct cool winds your way.
I remember when I got my first credit card, Joan. Back then, no one taught me about credit cards. After I joined the USN, my Navy boss helped me out. I don’t see millennials using cash so they have a debit card mostly likely set up on their phones.

Happy birthday to your granddaughter, KZ!! I hope she has a wonderful party.

Hahahahaha!! Feeling a little like a stone crab myself these past few tax years! LOVE all the pics everyone. Joan, it makes me wonder how people think about credit these days…used to be hard to borrow money or get credit cards. I have dozens of credit card offers every week in the mail and online. Banks loan money to farmers to buy the biggest and newest equipment, while some farmers pay over the top money per acre for rented farmland. They will undercut their own brother for another piece of land to farm. Meanwhile, the banks are only too happy to hand over the money as the scale keeps rising. This can’t keep going on forever. We have always bought used equipment, and paid cash and farm our own ground and a few acres around us that we rent. Most of our landowners have died this past year, leaving us with less land that the real estate agents are only too happy to try and buy to turn into housing developments. I don’t want neighbors living close to me, it’s why we live in the country.
Whew, I think I went off on a rant! 😳 But anyway, I can’t believe some of the younger people I know that have cell phone payments that look more like house payments, and don’t see anything wrong with it!
