A common idiom used to illustrate optimism versus pessimism is a glass with water at the halfway point, where the optimist is said to see the glass as half full and the pessimist sees the glass as half empty. Well the kits are thinking pawsitively – or not!

Attitude, everyone has one πŸ˜› Full glass, empty glass – they all fall to the floor, just ask a cat. I love the image about annoying as many people as possible.

How’s this for a pawsitive attitude?!

    Cya and have a happy~

I knew you’d like it PG! And your pics are so very rife with cynicism, love it! Me? Positive attitude? Purrhaps pawsitive. We’ll see what ‘tude I wake up with after ideally more than 1.5 hrs of shut-eye! πŸ˜‰

The pics are GREAT this morning! The one with the tiny scruffy kitten rubbing on the boot breaks my heart. Given that I can’t let a kitten suffer, it would be coming home with me…

I have an attitude…sometimes it’s not a pawitive one….just sayin’! Mostly it is though, and I try not to unleash it on others, but sometimes I use sarcasm, but mostly on people who don’t understand it.. πŸ˜†

As far as the half full/half empty glass, the engineer would say the glass is the wrong size.

I’m a glass is half full girl – don’t see the point in doom & gloom. I do, however, have a Jersey attitude. What.

It’s acorn-falling season, and those suckers are hard! Star is in her straw nest under the table so she’s alright. Haven’t seen Huey today, I wonder if he’s 2 timing me. Alas, his breakfast awaits. Berta and Dewey have apparently moved away from the tree that’s dropping them. Funny, you’d think squirrels would be everywhere. Maybe they’re gearing up for a party later!

“Today I’m going to catch the red dot.” That really is positive thinking!

Older son’s classes are cancelled this week and both my houses cancelled because they either had no power or are out of town. So cleanup around here and attempts to restock the fridge a bit today. It’s so strange to see the store shelves so empty…even fridge and freezer sections empty. Maybe stores had to throw some of those things out…or shipments got delayed. Been in a few stores the past two days and no half and half…but thankful to have a fridge that has me searching for half and half! I take my coffee with cream, no sugar. But I have this non dairy stuff that will do in a pinch.

Hubby went back to work today after his office was closed Monday and Tuesday. He said no traffic…which was strange..and the river was much higher, of course.

Got my bird feeder back up and sitting here watching them enjoy it.

PG, to answer your question from the other day…the cats did great during the storm. Thunder scares Eko…but they all seem okay with hurricanes. After all, the windows get cracked open when there’s no A/C so they get to sniff the outside world!

Midweek hello – paw up waving!
Happy things are gradually getting back to normal for EB & Av.
Heard FB TDK friend Dee has power back on…settling in best she can.
My relatives are doing better too…slowly but surely…hang in there for all.

Here’s my 2.5 cents share of the day as purry reminder:

    Purrfect Truism!

Pretty day today after very foggy AM. Sun came out – mid 70s next couple days – may hit 80s by weekend! πŸ™‚

Ok, time for warmer on my java….fill’er up Tux – mwah, smooch!
    think pawsitive mug
    …later all!

    πŸ™„ 😯 😳

    Paws up !
JJ, I just had to tell Mr MS the engineers idea of the glass half full/empty phrase. He liked it.
Ohhhhhhh all those falling acorns and no squirrels out a gathering. Crazy
ECB, with no houses to attend to you have more time with the boys after Irma and the outside cleanup will be done quickly. So glad you could get the bird feeder back in action and that the cat are enjoying the wafts of the outside world.
JK, thanks for the Dee update.
LAst visit to the dentist to have the stitches removed later today then once healed it’s on to the next tooth that needs capping.
Today is overcast and unusually warm. It’s that time of year when you don’t quite know what to wear. It’s either too hot or too cold.
HRH has decided to spent the afternoon in bed.
