Wednesday 10-08-2016 – It's Lazy Day – Our Chance to Goof Off!

Well, it is definitely a lazy day here, as it rained yesterday, and would you believe we have had a couple of showers this morning? Unbelievable. The windows in the house are steamy looking, as it’s incredibly humid here and it’s cool in the house so steamy windows it is! So thankful for this precious rain, and they are saying we could have showers for the next few days. We are hoping so as the ground is cracked and dry and parched. I love rainy days and a chance to be lazy. Mr. KZ is going to have to take me to town at some point as my license expired yesterday on my birthday and I didn’t make it to the BMV to get my new one. 😯 Good grief I hate having my picture taken and looking at that picture for the next 4 years, LOL!
AV, I wanted to say how great the wedding pictures were and how beautiful you look in your gorgeous blue dress!! Wow, it’s a shame you can’t wear that dress again to SOMETHING!
Thank you again everyone for the birthday wishes, I had a great day. And will be celebrating all week and will be going to dinner with the family sometime this weekend when we can all enjoy it.

Hi JK – good for you for getting out for that walk on your break. Nice to get back into the a/c though! Desk fan is often welcome; sometimes you just need that extra breeze.
It’s super murky here, so I’m hanging out with that big Maine Coon at the TDK lounge sipping on a tall pink lemonade…and goofing off, what else!

It’s a cool day with occasional showers. Airy said it was very frosty where she lives and the trains were affected with ice on the lines. Luckily she was driving in to work today once she had cleared her windscreen of ice.

I didn’t pull any weeds today. Just feeding, cuddling and playing with the cats had me drenched in sweat. Yes I do play with them – there are some old feather toys and a plain ol’ piece of twine that Huey loves to floss his teeth with. When the weather is dry I let whoever is in the chair cuddle with a little stuffed bear.
