Hee. Like the lemon/chocolate thing. Reminds me of Ron White saying when life gives you lemons, find a friend whose life gave them vodka and have a party. :).

    AV,
    “Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed” – like a squirrel purrhaps? πŸ˜‰
Hope your household prob gets solved. I’m still in wait mode for my fix-it guy. And patience is not something that I’m known for.
Love that idea ECB, it being close to that time in CafΓ©.

Boy, bright eyed – bushy-tailed was maybe 8 hours ago…now/NOT!
OK…1/2 hour to go. Plan on doing the gym thing to get cardio going & maybe wake up! Then home to air out Crockey/LOL with indoor KP after!
    What’s for dinner…something with veggies πŸ˜‰
Waves with wishes to enjoy the rest of your wootsday!
OK…where’s Tux…oh, still snoozing on the patio…Later kits!

Have fun at the gym JK – my 2nd home! See you as Thursday when my shower might not be dripping, I know, so not the worst thing in the world (and not being sarcastic), just annoying as I’m a very deadline oriented grrl. My dinner plans include (store bought) ‘shroom quiche (mushrooms, not the other sort LOL), risotto and veggies. *Sighs*

…. I can’t wait to get back to my gym (yoga) class, but with my eczema inflamed (it’s been since July now), my Dr. says absolutely NOT until it’s completely healed ….. (my patience is NOT the best) ….. I so miss it , altho I am going to start doing my patterns at home, I just like the structure of a class, it’s a no-brainer and keeps me on a schedule …

…. dinner for us is cold pasta salad with fresh cherry tomatoes and kalmatta olives, bbq chicken legs and ceaser salad……

my ‘power nap’ really helped me today, it’s been a long time since I’ve need that, but nice to have the flexibility to catch 50 winks when needed … *turns around and looks behind* … yep, my tail is still ‘bushy’ LOL!

Well looks like dinner for me will happen at some point this evening, hopefully. Mr. Fix-It is finishing up big job and supposedly will be here in an hour or so. Trying not to be snappish with him as he’s always done good stuff for me but really hope this thing is quick fix. But as dutiful servant did feed Dorry.
Good to see you Joan. It’s beyond that time and drinks are on me! For everyone! I’ll start off with something to kill off my wretched cold or make me forget that I have it. Virtually something that’s 96% proof LOL.

Hehe, KJ, funny how you mentioned pb&j sandwiches. Brother just mentioned he’s on a kick with them lately. He prefers wheat bread however.
I sure do miss you guys. Hoping that if I can get thru October things might get better. Will still be nutty, but maybe better.
Going to grab a bevvie and soak in the fabulous TDK pool/hot tub.

Just sticking my head in before I drift of to la la land πŸ™‚

AV hope the squirrel is caught before the house is sealed up.. Maybe it’s already left!

Joan I do hope that October is a more stress-free month for you..

KJ sorry about the cruddy cold.. God bless ya for still going to the Gym! I know I wouldn’t have the energy to do it at all not to mind when I’m sick πŸ™‚

Big waves to everyone else πŸ™‚ Jean , ECB and KZ πŸ™‚

It’s been a busy day for me and tomorrow will be no better .. We have a supervisior coming to the shop tomorrow and from what I hear she loves poking holes in everyone’s work.. And that’s the one quaility I truely HATE in people! I have no patience for people that look for problems where there aren’t any .. I have a feeling tomorrow isn’t gonna be fun πŸ™ but I’ll muddle trough..

    Hi Joan and KZ!
Agree Buttons (should you stop by later). Most of the supervisors/bosses that I have had have proven to be total “unfluffy”. And I know that others will concur. Just hope that you get through tomorrow’s ordeal and don’t have to deal with this woman for a long time or at all. Tks for blessings, always needed and appreciated, but nothing short of citywide “all systems down” situation G-d forbid keeps me from gym, often against my own best interests and heeding cautions from those who have my best interests in mind. Enough on that LOL.
Joan, is that you that I see finally getting a bit of R & R as soaking in hot tub, with white wine spritzer close to hand? As mentioned earlier, put it on my tab (tabby?) Fix-It guy finally arrived and replaced showerhead in it’s entirety with brand-new gizmo that has 3 – yes 3 settings, including massage. So might opt for steamy shower soon instead of fatiguing bath. Glad that he had foresight to bring a new one with him. He gets a pass for my wait as he was putting up Sukkah (next week’s holiday) at synagogue of Rabbi whom I consult with religious-related questions, extremely fine and patient man, as I can and do try anyone’s patience. Plus latest order from another fave online place as free shipping even to Canada as LLBean arrived. UPS, was supposed to be Canada Post, so fortunately was home otherwise customer service told me to send it back and they’d re-ship. That’s what I call customer service.

Nighty-night, Buttons. Good luck tomorrow – sending lots of good vibes! Actually, October will not be much better than September, but all these great TDK vibes certainly help. Pretty sure they kept my head above water in September.
There’s so much news about bears lately! The fatal attack a few miles from my home was very rare. Still waiting on results of the necropsy, but my thought is that the bear may have been sick. They are hungry this time of year, foraging and getting ready to hibernate, but the latest statement is that the group did nothing to provoke it. They did run from it, which you are not supposed to do, but it seems the bear was already following them, and they probably didn’t know – the group was not from around here. Folks around here are a bit rattled, but it’s common to see them and we must learn to co-exist with them. The last time I saw a bear in my yard was early in the summer. Tomorrow is garbage day, but the can, which is washed often, won’t have the kitchen garbage in it till tomorrow morning.
Oh, and I’ve said this before, but used kitty litter is a great bear deterrent. Saw one breaking into my garbage years ago; it got as far as the bag with the litter in it, grunted, and moved on!

Interesting re kitty litter as deterrent Joan. Maybe bear sees litter scent as animal that could be potential threat? Anyway glad they stay away from your turf. Cute as stuffies or Yogi, not so cute in attack mode. Reminds me of true unfortunate incident. Guy went on safari and didn’t heed guide who told him not to leave group, approach wildlife or exit closed in touring jeep. Saw some lion cubs playing, supposedly thought “just like my tabbies back home” and actually went to pet them. Mama was watching from shrubbery. That was that for the guy!

Afternoon all, had a busy morning and wasn’t able to get on here until now. LOL at ‘bleh’ pic. Did some grocery shopping today and we’re in-between seasons here and the last of the Winter veges and the early Spring veges are so expensive. Makes meal planning difficult. Those same Winter veges are not quite ready in my garden. I hate this in-between season.
I’m quite pleased that HRH Shadz seems to have given up her hunting, she still hunts but seldom ever catches anything. Now watch, having said that I bet the dappled darling goes off and catches something to make a liar of me. πŸ™‚
KJ, sorry you’re in the grips of a nasty full blown cold. As someone with a compromised immune system I don’t like seeing people obviously suffering from a cold or worse in the work place or other public areas although regular washing of hands by the ill person can go a long way to helping prevent the spread of the virus. People forget they sneeze on their hands and then put those hands on to door handles, shopping trolley handles etc.
JK,congrats on the 15lb drop, that is awesome. I decided I needed to follow an even healthier eating style and have cut out all bread, cakes and anything made from grain products as much as possible and I have dropped a similar amount in the last 6-7 weeks. I’m not gluten intolerant but I have noticed quite a few changes and all for the good, from no more dry scalp to less joint pain.
Love the ‘kitty’ wrap and the green peppers have me nervous to cut mine open.
AV, I hope that stealth squirrel has managed to get out.
Ohhhhhhhh World sarcastic day? I’m in! ! ! Sarcasm is something KK and I are well practised at with a side of humour.
AV, bright eyed and bushy tailed?? Keep away from the trap, you may be mistaken for the squirrel. I bought some coconut oil today for Mum and gave her your instructions for using it on the skin. πŸ™‚
Buttons, sending Positive Vibes for you tomorrow. Smile sweetly and nod if it gets too much.
Grabbing some celery sticks and a fountain drink and heading to the hot tub.

Hey MS – the water is perfect! And oh so soothing…
Nice to see a kitten in the main page all grown up. Nelson was a wee baby when he was featured back in 2007.
I may have dropped a few, but not the healthy way. Stress s***s. Concats to JK!
