Unless you’re a carnivorous kit that is! Seeing as fruits and vegetables are allegedly very healthy this might be a good day to try out the Café’s vegetarian menu. You’d be surprised at how “imaginative” the chef kitties can be!

Oh, cute! I love the bleh and the force field and the hipster…oh, I love them all.

Good morning, KJ and Buttons and those who come after. Loved AV’s baby squirrel story at the end of yesterday’s cafe. I love squirrels too. My brother’s indoor/outdoor cat often leaves half eaten rats around for her humans to find. But when she finds a baby squirrel she is very maternal and gently places it at the back door for them. They have become regular contributors to the squirrel rescue and sanctuary in town. Presumably she finds them on the ground and isn’t raiding nests. :).

Good morning Buttons, ECB, KJ and all who come after also today! Love the Vegetarian theme of today and also the pics, sooo cute. My outside cats don’t catch the tiny squirrels I have, but Katherine (Willow’s mom) catches shrews and leaves them on the sidewalk to the mailbox for me.. 🙁 Last week there were two shrews and a little frog. I’ve told her that she doesn’t need to repay me with gifts, I would love her and feed her without the added bonuses, but she will have none of it.

Morning all! …. well, woke up to thunderstorms again this morning! …. looks like our Fla. weather will continue to be unsettled until this weekend, when (all paws crossed) we might get a tiny bit of a break in the heat/humidity …. Sat. and Sun.should only be low 80’s which is heavenly, fall weather for us! yay! …. I love the first day of the fall season that I go outside in the morning, and it’s ‘cool’ …. one of my favorite days each year, and this weekend looks promising!

… getting ready to venture into the attic with Mr. AV for squirrel check, will peep back in later…. have a great morning all!

Hey all!
Glad you all like today’s pic picks. First 2 kits somewhat resemble Dorry, ‘cept he has a bullseye pattern on his hips.
“Chef’s choice” Joan? Hmmm … you might not know what you’re getting yourself into. 😉 On one of my 2 unpleasant forays into summer camp there was always PB/jelly/white bread on offer if someone didn’t like day’s menu. I think that one kid lived on this the entire time LOL.
ECB, sweet of bro’s kit to contribute to squirrel saving effort.
KZ, shrews – don’t think I’ve ever seen one up close – but term is another synonym for Hazel.
AV, hope that you get your squirrel situation squared away.
Likewise for your I’Net situation Buttons.
Likewise for my shower drip situation.
Definitely bad cold that I have, feel wretched from bottom of neck on up. But no fever so gym is in the plan, although I’ll probably get grief from other peeps for being there. Then again I’m careful re keeping cough/sneezing to self and supposedly cold is contagious before symptoms appear. Common sense and KJ don’t vibe together at times.

My interpretation of society’s rules is that you can assume you will be exposed to the common cold in public, KJ. Now if you have the flu or are vomiting with something viral, it is more considerate to stay home. But we can’t all stay home with a cold, right? Send them to me if they have questions…lol.

Trying to follow a healthier eating plan…helped me drop 15# since first of year…woo hoo…bye bye red meat w/only li’l chickie some fish on occasion! Plus less carbs, refined sugar has helped too! My trio are defini carnivores – no table scraps allowed!

Hey JK those pancakes or pannercakes look hearty and healthy!
KZ, tks, anyone so much as gives me a look I’ll tell them that if they so much as add a comment “KZ is more than willing to discuss it with you”. Honestly a purrson with more sense would rest at home, but that’s not moi. And considering that I am more or less in the minority of peeps who actually spray their spin bikes with cleaner and wipe down after use, comments re germs are somewhat irrelevant. However in Café will keep to myself in corner purrhaps with a big orangie for company. And if Chef Kitty could be purrsuaded to make me some tea/honey would be appreciated. Oh, and purrhaps some soothing cough syrup from Victorian times with main ingredient as opium. Ask Basement Cat, he’ll know where to “score” me some. LOL.

…. no squirrel yet, and bait still hasn’t been touched …. Mr. AV says we leave it for one more day, and if nothing, then it got out. We foam the remainder of the house this weekend, so nothing will be able to get in after that, so hopefull, rodent free 🙂 going forward!

OK JK, where is efurryone!!! Out at a BBQ I’ll presume LOL.
And tks, I’ll never look at a pepper in quite the same way, don’t think that I could bring myself to bite off kitty’s head as wrap and now have Davy Crockett theme as earworm from raccoon rescue – coonskin cap, betcha nowadays it would be faux raccoon, caught at store.
But hey, it’s all good. Now I am def needing 2nd cuppa as feeling cruddy but coffee can only help.

…. afternoon all! …. don’t know what got into me today, about 1:30pm, I ‘wilted’ – seriously, had to go lie down for a 60 min. power nap ….. actually did wonders, and I’m all bright eyed and bushy tailed now ….. must be all the antihistimene-thingys-can’t-spell that I take 🙂
…. anyhoo, I feel much better, and actually got up and made the pasta salad and set the chicken to marinate for tonites dinner….

…. getting back to the puter now, hope everyone is having a good afternoon!
