Be safe our Nor’easter friends-you are family to me!

Good morning – I’ve got a box of crafts; there always seems to be a reason not to get to it.

Quinn the nor’easter has arrived here in Jersey. It’s not too windy yet, but the snow is picking up in intensity.

The outdoor kits checked in for breakfast, individually, except for Dewey and Berta, who were already inside.

Not “The Mighty Quinn” JJ! I will do all the favour of not posting an earworm. We’re getting very blustery snow/wind, probably an offshoot of the storm. Stay warm and save – you, hubby and kits!

Just got back in. Had not planned to go out, but it was decided that with my gut issues blood/pee tests were the plan, need to see if several days of noms and self being srsly on the outs have caused electrolyte imbalance. At least I didn’t have to wait and will prob get results l8r or more likely 2morrow.

And got home in time for postman. Imagine, Doc Martens all the way from Israel in less than 2 wks!!!!! Kick-a** boots in time for Int’l Women’s Day – neat!

PG, I so agree, moving is intensely not fun. Guess with your crew you need a goodly amount of space, but also assume that in a house no one will give you grief about having 3 purries. I’d rather an n’bour have kits than screaming kids, but don’t get me started. Hope that something comes through.

Stay safe JJ, I can’t believe you are getting hit again! It’s cold and blustery here today too, and we are having snow squalls off and on. The woodburner feels nice too.

I’m not a crafty person but the granddaughters love getting into craft projects. I always try to find a reason not to do them, unless it involves drawing or coloring which I like 😉

KJ, you don’t have to post a link. The title alone was enough to plant the ear-worm!

Current kits are very restrained when it comes to knitting but there’s always some cat fur worked into my embroidery.

There’s always a hair or more courtesy of Dorry on my knit sweaters. But as a cross-stitch piece that I have hanging states “No outfit is complete without cat hair.”

This day was more intense than planned. And didn’t get much knitting done. Or course work, but there’s no rush for either. So I’m off to open Café and then to bed.

Happy International Women’s Day – for tomorrow.

Greetings all, crazy weather here. Beeeautiful sunny day here and yet barely 2 hours away there is flooding, road closures and evacuations. We will most likely get some rain later today as the front spins over us. We are also waiting to see if we will be getting a third tropical cyclone early next week. Looks like my area will have the dubious pleasure of heavy rain and gales. 😥 Enough! Three TC’s this year already.
It’s good to see the site up and running again. Huge thanks to KittenMaster.
Loving all the pics, who knew cats were so crafty. Okay, we all did but with a different definition of crafty.
PG, house hunting and moving suck majorly. Did the moving bit too many times when farming and have helped the girls so many times when they were at university that we lost count.
JJ, Quinn? Are your strong winds named or is it more than a strong NorEaster? Just keep safe from falling trees/branches/powerlines/grumpy bears. Oh BTW, thanks for the earworm.
KJ, hope all is right with your electrolytes etc . Yay the kick ass boots arrived.
KZ, farmers wives learn to do so many things to keep home and farm running smoothly that could be crafts but are done out of necessity. I don’t craft unless something really grabs my interest. I made a cute origami banner of dresses a few years ago for a grand niece but got no thanks for it so that squashed my enthusiasm.
LOL PM, you know our KJ well. She loves to post earworm links.
Yes, there is cat fur worked into all sorts of things here and Shadz isn’t really a moulter either.
    Sweet dreams KJ.

Thankfully MS, I’m not as “unbalanced” as previously thought. 😉

Yarn tangled up all over chair and LR makes me shudder. There was the incident where Dorry grabbed a ball of yarn and got it tangled throughout the place, including around the dining table legs! 😮 😆

    Therapy kit LOL.

New boots really are really kick-a** and neat. Wore them to gym and got compliments. Looking for a cream to keep them in tip-top shape, I actually enjoy cleaning my gear. Comfy but will be more so when leather breaks in a bit. Discovered that Queen Elizabeth II has someone to wear her shoes in. I guess because she can, interesting trivia.

    Now srsly off to bed.
