Boris always looks rumpled – it’s part of his charm! He’s a bit wierd. Not living in London I had no part in the vote for the London mayor, but he wouldn’t have been my choice. He seems a good enough bloke, though.

Has anyone heard from Catfancier? I know she’s heartbroken over losing Macey but I hope she’s not beating herself up. It really stinks (putting it VERY mildly) when our friends go to the bridge, expected or unexpected.

Miu – yes it is ! I took that in June 2006 – Kaupoa Beach on the island of Moloka’o – looking towards O’ahu.

I’ll probably switch back to one of my kitties.. but wanted something different for a while. 🙂

2P, I am glad your son is okay. That must have hurt so badly and been a bit of a frightening moment!

Joan, Catfancier was on over the weekend, I was chatting with her, she was doing as well as could be expected. Very sad though, again, normal.

SMM, I have had your nights too, when a 20 lb Fred says hello to me at 1am.

I always want to move to the UK as well. My hubby and I love it there, but I wouldn’t even know how to do it. sigh….

CM, I slept a little bit, then woke up craving the pineapple salsa and chips I had bought on the way home….so sad that my stomach/hunger dictates how long I can sleep, I honestly will wake up out of a dead sleep (even drug induced) no more than 3 hrs in just to eat something, lol. So the salsa is gone now, and I will have to buy more on the way to work tonight so I can share w/co-workers 🙂

OK, where have the last 3 days gone??? 72 hours ago I was at the eve of a three day holiday weekend, and now suddenly I’m back to work tomorrow morning – no fair!!!

CM, the pineapple salsa was so good, spice with sweet (think pico de gallo and pineapple thrown in) actually bought it in the Wally World deli. I hope that I get a chance to sleep a bit longer for tonight too, but who knows, one can never tell. Actually wish it would rain, its gray & cloudy outside with the wind picking up so maybe…

CM – yes, I have had a nice weekend – quiet (almost too quiet in places!) and very lazy. I’ve slept too much and read too much. Should have socialised a bit more, but left it too late, and everyone already had plans – no matter, the cats have enjoyed having me around!

Deb – 9 days off – woo hoo!! Any plans?

My dau is doing a bit better, now only sick a couple days out of the week and tired (told her thats part of the pregnancy contract) most of the time. Big plans for the 9 days, organize the garage, weed thru ‘stuff’, box/crate up the kids toys (that they won’t let me get rid of) with their names labeled on them, and finish thinning the closet herd of clothes/shoes that I don’t wear but keep anyways. If I have the energy and/or inclination, would like to clean the carpet(s) (hate carpets but haven’t convinced the landlord to remove them yet) and take in a movie even at the theater.
