    I love watching the US Open, too, GD. In the past, there have been some great late-night matches. Anyone remember when Jimmy Conners came back from 2 sets down to beat Krickstein years ago and then made it to the semis? Gosh, I’m sooooooooo old!!

    Good morning everybody! Hermes spent the whole night at my feet. What a wonderful footwarmer he is! He meowed “Good Morning Mama” and stretched nice and big when I began to scritch him. He’s beginning to “talk” when he gets touched.

    It’s such fun having a purebred, and watching his personality develop. He is the gentlest cat I’ve ever had.

    FH, I LOVE those late-night matches at The Open!

    I’ll get to watch some tennis this morning before I go to work (it’s on at 11:00) and then I’m going to put it on at the gym. If the gym is anything like what it was last week, I’ll be too busy with orders and shipping notifications to watch, but we’ll see. I’ll be home around 9:30PM so I’ll be just in time for the second night session match (which is always the best one, anyway!).

    I did the LOTR marathon back in March when hubby was out of town one weekend. Without commercial interruption it was 12 hours of viewing pleasure. How long did it last on TV? In honor of LOTR, I am fixing second breakfast of bacon, eggs, grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, fried potatoes, oatmeal and tea

    Why, why, why when I just dusted the whole house last Monday is the dust back again???????? I wonder if I could pack it up and send it to Siberia? Surely it would take longer than a week for it to make its way home again 🙁
