Oh my goodness. I just started back to college and I have been so busy. Ok, 3 of my little kittens got pink eye or some kind of infection, including my little supplement baby Butternut. He was looking so pitiful I was really worried yesterday, so I called and got their booster shot/checkup moved up to today. My vet doesn’t do shots till 9 weeks,(Mine are 4 @ 8 wks 4 dys old and 2 @ 7 wks 4 dys old. I only took in the four. Three of those kittens were infected.

My vet finally clued me in on the gender. I got all 4 wrong! Coconut, Butternut, and Cottonball are all boys and Jeff Jr. is a girl. All of my boys had the eye infection, so they are on eye drops plus the standard dewormer. Butternut is on an additional anti-biotic. He didn’t get a booster, but I have an appointment on the 29th for my other kittens, Vinyl and CJ to get their booster and I will take Butternut then.

I love my vet! I LOVE MY VET!! He could have really stuck it to me because after all I am completely to blame for not getting my cats spayed/neutered before this happened, but he gave me a break. He did not charge me for an office visit and he only charged me for 2 shots instead of 3 and the medication. So a bill that should have been just over $300 was $143. I just want to cry, I am so thankful. I knew I was going to be hit bad with this and that was a blessing that I wasn’t prepared for. Now, I need to get rid of these little fur balls!!!

I can start adopting them out in 2 weeks, except Butternut who will be adoptable in 3 weeks along with the second litter, Vinyl and CJ. Time to do some Glamour Shots!
