    I have the most beautiful picture in my head. Jean is standing in a meadow, the most beautiful one ever, free from pain and all memory of it, bathed in sunshine. She sees those she loves on the other side of the bridge. But first, she spots something in the distance. They come closer; she is overwhelmed by the joy of her lifelong pets running to her, their eyes shining with happiness.

    Thank you Joan for sharing that awesome picture of the reunion in the Meadow on this special day of remembrance. (Plus sharing the TDK meet-up pic w/JJB!)

    Thanks Joan! I will always treasure our time together. Jean will be missed by all and if you had the pleasure of knowing her personally, the memories will always be a comfort.

    Jean made and impact on us in this family and she will be missed. She is with our other friends who have gone on. Chester/Jerry, Terri, Sharon, Renee and Ben. She is with the wolf in the meadow greeting her lifetime of pets and she is restored.

    My heart is just broken. First JCAT’s dad and now our dear sweet Jean. I know she is pain free and no longer sick. I hope all the kits in the meadow didn’t knock her down when she got there. You will always be loved and are now another guardian angel for TDK. RIP Jean. Prayers for your family during this difficult time.

    A glass raised to a wonderful lady with grace inspite of pain! Jean Ann taught those that paid attention that a person is NOT their illness and that constantly dwelling on the pain will only make life worse. May she be at peace and know no pain. May her family and friends comfort and support each other.

    Go gently, dear Jean. Your fight is over and we are all the better for having witnessed your courage and grace. Peace be with you and all your family.

    When I am dead, my dearest,

    Sing no sad songs for me;

    Plant thou no roses at my head,

    Nor shady cypress tree:

    Be the green grass above me

    With showers and dewdrops wet;

    And if thou wilt, remember,

    And if thou wilt, forget.

    I shall not see the shadows,

    I shall not feel the rain;

    I shall not hear the nightingale

    Sing on, as if in pain:

    And dreaming through the twilight

    That doth not rise nor set,

    Haply I may remember,

    And haply may forget.

    I just caught up with this. I am so sorry for the passing of our friend Jean. I only met her once, but remember her smiling face and her joy to have met some of the TDK’ers here in PA. She had recently joined the group and Debsterwitz was nice enough to bring her down. I can still see her sitting in my living room with her great smile and enthusiasm of meeting the others. She will be missed. So sad to lose another friend, may her crossing to the other side be peaceful. Goodnight, dear lady, you have touched my heart. Send my love to the wolf. Rest in peace. Much love and peace to your family, Mama Lynn
