my neighbour is not looking after their cat . last year the cat went around for 6 days with its paw stuck through its collar . I called the RSPCA and as a result the cat had to have surgery to its injury from the collar. It hangs around my house all day crying wanting food and shelter and I feed it as its so hungry . I have been to see the owner who has an enormous alsation dog . Hence the reason I believe the cats unwillingness to go home . The owner was very laid back saying he often does not see the cat for weeks . I have a rescue cat and do not want the responsibility of another cat . I have been told by cats protection not to feed the cat .Easier said than done . I want to re -visit the owner but believe all my complaining will fall on deaf ears . I am getting really upset and annoyed by the whole situation

If ever a cat needed a hero, it’s THIS cat. It so desperately needs someone who can love and care for it. Of course you are upset and annoyed, you can see what needs to be done for one who has no voice to ask for help. I have 4 inside cats and I say so what’s ONE more? You know what to do, so DO it!

    Hi vnor,

Thank you so much for helping this cat out. The dirtbag, I mean owner doesn’t care. I understand taking on another cat can be a problem for many folks.

I’m going to guess you’re in Southampton UK and not the US. Here’s some links to call and ask for assistance in helping this cat.

They should be able to give you some assistance. Do tell them that you can’t take on another cat so they understand you’re situation.

Good Luck and thanks for taking the time to care for this cat.
