We’re good and Jen, John just called and said (I quote here) “Maddie is just too cute for words!” We both love the pictures you sent and we were wondering, did you get the book too?

George was good this morning, after being not so good last night. It was just a little chasing, but lately I get so upset when he does that even a little is a big deal. I’m just tired of being scared of him, and not knowing how to get him to stop chasing me & biting me. I feel like I’ve tried everything, and I get frustrated at me as much as at him. No fun. But he was good this morning.

Have to go back to dentist next week. They want me to get some medication from my surgeon before doing anything, even just cleaning. They took another xray of the tooth, but it looks the same as before and nothing shows up. It’s doing better today and I’m chewing a little more on that side.

Kilroy, I know it is really hard, but you need to stop running away when George attacks you – now he thinks it is part of the “game”. My RT used to get over-stimulated when playing and would start to bite. I trained myself to freeze when she bit and then I would blow in her face or tap her nose and say “NO”. Then I would stop playing with her until she calmed down. George is just trying to engage with you, but he is learning the wrong way.

That’s right NNGM. For a while I used to put a throw pillow between me and Sammy when he was little and playing (?)… While saying ‘no’ and then walk by him without looking at him. No problem with Oliver tho, he never played that way. He loves his toys and still does.
