    Chai tea please…. and I think a Belgium waffle with strawberries and whipped cream sounds really good today.

    You’re right, Joan – why waste time with the tomato juice???? Maybe if I just have the vodka part I’ll be in a better mood and not be so tempted to kick the bailiff. Which I’m pretty sure is frowned upon.

    Good morning, all!

    Buckets of So. Calif. sunshine and warm (over 60 degrees)breezes to all folk eastward who are getting chilled. Take ’em, we’ve got plenty right now. And the smog and smoke have been filtered out by the wormhole. Almost as good as a cat foot warmer.

    Kykat, sciatica is never fun; hope PT works for you. I’ve never had back problems, but as I write reports for a Workers’ Compensation doc, I’ve read plenty of descriptions of how it feels and that gives me symapthetic nerve twinges.

    Could someone pass me some strong coffee and a kitty? Torties preferred, but any cat who wants to come is welcome.

    Oh brrr, I just ran outside for a minute to pick something up and it’s FREEZING out today! The wind is horrible 🙁

    Hi, sweeties!

    Taking a quick break to grab a latte and a few biscuits with fresh butter and rough-cut marmalade.

    I had my craft show on Sunday and did well! My soft sculpture sold OK but the sugar ornaments really flew!

    It’s cold here in Pennsylvania and the snow is shawling down out of the sky while the branches outside my window blow black against the wind. O perfect day!

    WWM, I’m pretty sure you should hold back on kicking the bailiff, lol! When I mix drinks, the non-alch. part is just added for color…

    Gini, it’s windy here so I can only imagine what it’s like in the city. Don’t blow away!

    Thanks all for the good thoughts. I am hopeful that PT can get me back to my normal pain level of 2 (on a scale of 1-10) instead of the 4-6 that is flared up right now. I don’t like having to take extra medication every day to be able to get by. I am going to be good and once we get to the strengthing portion of it, I am going to do my best to make sure I follow through.

    WWM, what a horrible way to spend the day. Going back and forth like that, will the $10.00 even be enough to cover gas?

    The visit with the dog-sittng client ended up taking 2 hours – that I didn’t have – and I ended up having to cancel my coffee/lunch meeting with my friend. I did pack stuff and go send it off from the post office, so I did accomplish something! I’ll have to leave again at one to go walk the dogs and then from there to work. Arrrrgh!

    Kykat–I feel your pain of the sciatica–amazing how painful it can be, huh? I have pain pills to take, but they make me sweat! 🙁

    Glad the soup was a success, CM–I’m looking for more soup recipes for when the weather turns colder, permanently!

    Yes you will, WWM, but at least you’ll be prepared if it starts to rain! 🙂

    Or, you could just wear corduroy over them to mask the noise? 🙂
