Art is valued and appreciated for all sorts of reasons. Look at a piece of art and ask yourself: What is is telling me? How does it make me feel? What emotions (if any) does evoke within me – if it’s done by a kit, well …

Good morning – cats are indeed works of art. While I adore black cats, Mac’s tabby markings are so precise, it’s amazing really. Berta’s dilute colors flow peacefully, giving off a calming vibe, while tortie Mama Cat’s in-your-face black, orange and cream coloring, combined with her incredible golden eyes, makes her one of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever known.
Beautiful sunrise this morning, with the peeks of sun giving way to snow clouds. From an art point of view, it looks like a snow globe. I fed six snow covered kitties; we call them bundt cakes!

JJ, same here with Dorry’s tabby markings. His “bullseyes” are evenly marked on his hips, and at times I like to poke him right in the centre of each bullseye, I know TMI. 😉 And my RB kit Nicky’s tuxie “suit” featured a purrfectly even white shirtfront. Torties are awesome, seems that no 2 look alike.

Way cold out today but infinitely preferable to ice. You dress for the cold and you’re good. Plus sun is enervating. So just got in from gym and later in p.m. have re-scheduled dentist appt. 3 fillings and teef don’t trouble me at present. After – well, I’ll be getting srs freezing, but with the front of my month all numb as plan is to do this in one appt, well, guess I’ll know l8r.

Hi guys! Been thinking of you guys, but haven’t made it here lately. Been coordinating things for the big house closing, repairs, then moving next month. Hope all is well with you guys! Have we heard from KZ lately? Hope she’s healing well.

Do you think my cats are mad at me? Some mornings I wake up with a yak here or there or scattered litter from overzealous digging. This morning I woke up to yak in 2 different spots, a “cling on” nugget of poo in the hallway, litter scatter from digging, and a big puddle of overspray from Eko tinkling over the end of his box. The “cling on” is his signature work too. Leo does the digging. Blond hair told me the yak was Leo’s too. Emily is the only one innocent in all this….lol. Good thing they’re all so cute!

“I hope this time the human appreciates my art” ROTFLOL!! The pretty kitten with a heart on its side is a cutie. Their beauty and grace makes cats true art! I thought I’d look for cats in art and there are a bazillon. Here’s a few.

Better known for his water lilies and haystacks, Impressionist Claude Monet made this pastel drawing of a cat enjoying a snooze in the mid- to late-1860s.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir created Julie Manet and her famous portrait.

michelangelo – This literal Renaissance man once said that “the smallest feline is a masterpiece.” He sketched cats in many positions, and included one who is eager to escape in this drawing.

    Andy Warhol?

Namsa Leuba, Untitled I, from the series Cocktail, 2011.

I finished my Tai Chi with my not so helpful Miss Moppet. No doubt, she didn’t understand how I could do something without her approval. *Sheezh*

    Cya and have a happy~

    ECB,
Cats sense change and they don’t like change. They’re not mad per se so much as stressed. Just give them lots of attention and maybe that will ease their stress.

Hope your kit probs sort themselves out. They probably do sense the upcoming change.

We have heard from KZ as she’s stopped by the Café in the past few days. She’s at home, doing physio and recuperating. Doing really well in fact. And we all hope that this continues.

Looks like I’m back at dentist as next Tues. He could only do 2 of 3 fillings in one shot (2 shots actually LOL.) So one more tooth needs work. I was frozen up to my eye socket and freezing is beginning to come out now. I will say thank goodness freezing exists!

    Hey, late here all!
KJ, hope dentist goes well ..
EC, I can totally relate, Luna is pooping OFB (out of box) because son took Ve back with him, and she’s pissed/lost without her! He was not allowed to take both cats on the plane, so I’ll catsit til he comes back in a few weeks. She is a sweetie!
