Here’s a chance to get out and “Dosey Do” with your partner. Or just show off your best moves. The kits will take the lead!

    Crossover pic –

Oh this was so much fun. Who knew cats were so talented at dancing.
I remember learning ballroom dancing at school and later when I was a debutante we all gad lessons with our partners.

You were a debutante MS? Wow I’m sooo impressed! Did you get to wear a white ball gown and elbow-length gloves? And curtsy to the dignitaries? Now we all know what one of KJ’s fantasies was LOL. 😉

Good morning – every pic made me giggle today, or at least gaze in awe of the cats’ poses!
I learned to square dance in Girl Scouts. There was a father-daughter square dance and although I was at the weird age of not really wanting to be with my father, it was a fun day. I can still remember dad that day…
We’ve got water coming from the sky here in Jersey. Not just showers, but a steady rain. Makes it difficult to feed the cats though. Just yesterday I got some plywood scraps from a neighbor and covered four shelters that I lined up. Not completely dry, but it gives the cats a spot to stand outside the shelters. If I can get my hands on some more, I can make a lean-to, or make the one I have bigger.

Morning! JJ, sounds like you are getting the rain we had yesterday…it’s dry here today but a little cloudy and expected 60*. Rain again tomorrow, so okay, it beats snow and driving in it!

I have to remember to get outside and put fresh straw in my cat shelters (I have two) and Maxwell sleeps in one. I have been having opossums in the garage, and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if one was sleeping in the other shelter! Teeheee! They are always eating Max’s food, and startle me when I go into the garage to top off his crunchies and one is sitting up there. Of course, they ‘freeze’ with that silly grin on their face, but they are the healthiest looking opossums I’ve ever seen. 😀

I loved every one of those pics myself Joan, made me smile! And yes, KJ, now we know one of your secret fantasies!! 😛

MS, glad you had fun entertaining us, and wanted to tell you I have watched the National Geographics shows on New Zealand this week. Beautiful country, fascinating birds and wildlife. The scenery was breathtaking, and the show was really informative. So if you felt like someone was thinking of you, it was me!

Ooh, a Debutante among us! How much fun is that, MS?

A beautiful rose to brighten your walk JK.

Bummer about your shipment KJ. The earrings are so mod, I’m sure.

We desperately need the rain. Miss Gaea is loving the mild weather. Miss Moppet wanted out in her catico.

I finished making lemon cookies, Peanut Brittle and Fudge. This evening, I’m making more Shortbread.

    Now I’m tired.

Well PG, if I could I would send you of our rain, slated to be pouring for rest of week!
But here’s a rain earworm that you might want to try. 😉 From Canada’s very own awesome Guess Who!

Speaking of rain and today’s theme, I had tutus, waltz length and regular, back in my ballet days, but did not keep them. But they were not magical, so AV, if you see this, please stow your tutu away!
It is sad re my jewellery order. 🙁 After much frustration and rsch UPS says this would qualify as “lost item” a nice way of saying vendor is all *&^((*() up! Spoke with credit card peeps and wouldn’t ya know charge is on next bill. Good news is that I won’t have to pay as if order does not arrive by 2/12 they will dispute it.
Then there’s my brand new burgundy boots. One wearing and heel was literally peeling off! Brought them in to my terrific and way honest shoe repair guy who told me that he would not take my money as any repair would not last. Explained why. Brought them back to store and with no probs got credit note good until whenever.
And found some neat burgundy boots online, called store and as I happen to have appt in area, they’re holding that only pair in small size for me ’til Thurs. Way low price. Still need to try on as they’re a bit larger than usual shoe size, but with an insole might be OK esp as winter boots tend to go up a size due to thick lining.
Hair came out OK, but still needs usual day or so to “fall in.” Bangs getting long which is fun.
My notion of taking a srs catnap did not happen. Going to bad past 3 am last night and arising before 7 am was bad move. Among other things I have to remedy this (as I tell myself all too often.) *Sigh*

Good afternoon all. Had a busy morning but here now.
KJ, yes I did get to wear a white ball gown and elbow-length gloves and to curtsy to the dignitaries. If I remember correctly our parents ‘presented’ us to the dignitaries. It sounds so grand but it was not at all like those ‘coming out’ grand balls held for the upper crust types in the UK. This was for the Girl Guides celebrating something I can’t remember now as it was many many years ago. I was still a teen. We all were presented to a wonderful woman who had been in and supporting Guiding for ever-so to speak. We all waltzed the evening away like delicate ladies although as a group of Girl Guides we could do things to survive in the great outdoors that any genuine delicate flower of womanhood wouldn’t even know how to do. It was our moment to shine and we had so much fun shining. 😉 😆
Aha ! ! See there, JJ learned to dance too thanks to the Guiding/Scouting movement. No, water from the sky JJ, we are expecting the same tomorrow but on a gentler and infrequent scale. Awwww, you made the cats some verandas. That is really thoughtful. The interior of their houses should stay drier too.
KZ, I had to laugh at your healthy possums. Now I know why my ears were burning, it was you. Glad you enjoyed learning about my country, we’re small and at the far ends of the South Pacific and have some unique wildlife and wild beautiful scenery.
    Hi JK, pretty rosebud.
PG, love the pics. Love robotoh kitty.

    😆 😆
KJ, that sucks monkey toes about your jewellery order and your burgundy boot heel but it’s great you got a credit note. I hope the news boots fit.
    Must fly now.
