The Staff and Agency kitties heard “herb” and that was that! The whole Café is rife with the scent of catnip and we’d best not count on getting our refreshments ’cause the kits are ‘nipped out!

    Poor “set up” kitty MS!

Not even sure that I’d try it – but I’m still waiting on Justin to legalize the hoomin form of ‘nip. Just to see if he keeps even one of his campaign promises. It’s the principle of the issue. He seems to have July ’18 as deadline. Hmmm …

No I’m not purrticularly political, but our former PM, Stephen Harper and esp his wife Laureen supported cat causes, shelters, events etc. And the resident kits at his official residence 24 Sussex Drive were all shelter rescues. Just sayin’.

I love herbs and have many of them growing in my garden right outside the kitchen door…sage, rosemary, parsley, lemon thyme, basil, oregano and before long it will frost and they will all be gone… 😥 I think I miss them more than anything I can think of over the winter. Especially for soup making–which reminds me I just might harvest a lot of them now and dry them for just that purpose. There’s nothing like fresh herbs, but second best is your own herbs dried!

Love the pics today, especially the ‘nip ones. We have catnip growing everywhere. They sell it in the stores too, I guess people don’t know what it is or where to find it but you can just reach down and pick it and put it in your pocket for later instead of buying it. My cats don’t go for the fresh–which I don’t understand. My Simba, who is in the Meadow now, used to eat it when I brought it in. Thumbalina ate a piece of grass yesterday that Mr. KZ had on his shoe and then proceeded to yak grass spit all over the downstairs… 😳

    😆 😛 😎

I love all the pics esp. Cat’s in the Cradle and …I was set up! It’s a shame the Coffee Herb Rub isn’t for da body. Imagine what it would do for my joints! Maybe I’ll light a smoke a write a letter to “Dear Justin.”

What you do when you’re stoned:

PG, you do that – write to Justin – he might even reply, or pay you a visit – if you can arrange a photo opp! Tell him that you toke up and it hasn’t done you a whit of harm! 😉

I’m thinking that there must be a coffee herb rub. There is such a thing as a chocolate rub so why not. Going to check it out. Back in a sec!

    Well there’s this on Amazon.ca:
Fresh Coffee Bath Body Massage Oil TRIPLE SCENTED SUPER STRONG 250ml
by House Of Candles ($46.99 CAD)
Fresh Coffee – The strongest freshly brewed Coffee you will find. “Well grounded and blended with an aroma of high flavour, full body, and well rounded with a smooth finish.
A skin dessert combination of Sweet Almond Oil, Soybean Oil, Macadamia Oil and Jojoba Oil. Each also has lashings of pure Vitamin E.”

Rub on skin or drink it? Or both? Hmmm …

Also found this DIY treatment site:
    https://bellatory.com/skin/-Used-coffee-grounds-fantastic-skin-treatment-at-no-cost

Not sure that I believe all the “promises” but the scent could be very nice.

    Now I’m wanting a coffee!

Sort of a busy day. Gym then haircut where I gladly parted with my clippers as gift to stylist. He says they’re very high quality. As for finessing my look, he angled the crown a bit, hard to explain, but sides and back are way, way short as in barely there – I love it!!!!! He also advised me not to use flat iron as I need a bit of lift. Also was impressed with the new toy I bought – super hot air brush with genuine instead of the usual hard ceramic bristles, 3 gadgets in one with the attachments and on sale for $30!

Then Nadine came and we always have fun while cleaning and me getting her advice on what I feel needs fixing vs what actually needs fixing LOL. And we get to catch up.

Then part 1 of paying project finally arrived. It’s a fun job and should keep me out of mischief. At least for the short time it will take me. And 2 more parts or project yet to come.

And thankfully my back ache only lasted yesterday. So it must have been a very slight strain. Plus I took care of it with the tried and trusted stuff right away.

So as Dorry had his noms I shall do likewise and try to chill. L8R.

I’m no fan of Justin; more than a bit of a lightweight with a pretty face, and not particularly astute, but the fellow before him espoused outright ecocidal policies, and I care as much about wild kitties as our furries by the (proverbial) hearth. I do think that Lauren is deeply devoted to the cat rescue cause. I’d like to meet her someday.

Such funny pics! Love the kit who’s concerned as to the amount of nip in his buddy’s brownie!
Thanks for the herb chart, JK. I didn’t grow any herbs this year.

Oh and now I know where Leela was all day yesterday, here in TDK land at Catnipfest!
