JJ, why do I sense that Aslan might be a purrmanent addition to your crew?

One of my sunglass prs is prescription, strange how my 2 prs of reg prescription glasses annoy me so I don’t wear them unless TV has subtitles or I go to theatre or movies (has not happened in eons). But the sunglasses are fine. My opthamologist says this is known sitution and is OK with my not wearing the reg glasses.

Project has not arrived today. 🙁 I finally emailed the org directress (who I am working with on this.) Kept impatient tone out of it. Whatever, ‘cept I better not get grief for taking the time needed to do a propurr job as there is an actual hard deadline. Guess she does have other priorities other than keeping KJ happy. Of course I could have arranged to go our this pm, but realistically I’m beat. Plus it did pour for a bit and without an umbrella I’d have gotten a good soaking. Guess I just feel like bitchin’ a bit about stuff that is so not my biggest prob.

Third week into your new (or old yet new) job come Thurs. Really so glad that this opp came through for you. Would think that it will get easier with time, or can you brush up on new stuff on days when you’re not working? OK, you’re not getting paid, but might make things less stressful (if they are somewhat stressful) in the long term. Just a thought.

But mailman brought me my “Blueberry Swirl” knitting yarn! So pretty. I knitted up a test swatch to determine purrfect needle size and my denim skirts are clamouring for me to ditch my other 2 current projects and make this one. Unlike other knitters who may have 10 things going at once, I keep things down to one mindless project and one that’s more complicated, as in staying up way late last nite to fix error in complicated one was srsly bad plan!

Hmmm … sounds pawsible re Aslan or any kit for that matter.

Thought you don’t go for sweaters, PG? 😉 What I would do is help/advise you if you ever decided to take up knitting. It’s so relaxing and never in my wildest dreams (and they can get pretty wild hehehe) did I imagine I’d knit. With I’net/Youtube for help one can figure out anything. My pawlicy at Knitting Circle is not to ask staff for help, even though technically Fri pm is a “knitting clinic.” Thing is that I never buy yarn there, it would cost like +$100 for a sweater and I am talking smallest size so least amt of yarn! So to me it would not be appropriate to take up staff time although they are very pleasant. Online, w/shipping/exchange $45 tops (pun intended) avg around $25. Besides, shop owned by my knitting mentor/and hubby is minutes away and she’d be most willing to help me if req’d, just because.

PG, my “loserness” is taking hold! Re-reading your post, if I’m correct I think you want to “see” the blue sweater when it’s done? I could send you pic by email. It seems that more and more sites dis my sorry browser. 🙁

Don’t know why I’m getting so stressed re having not received any response to email re this project. Purrhaps ’cause I don’t want to end up doing all-nighters which end up being full of errors and do me no credit? Probably humiliated myself forwarding previous query with an “Any news yet?” email. Too late to take it back. Don’t much care what this woman, who in fact seems decent enough, thinks of me. My control issues coming to the fore! 2 more rows of knitting and then it’s my bed crying out for my purrson. Dorry has made his way there already.
