    Hi Cheri,
Your order is on your way to you thru the wormhole, and the cuddle buddy who’s bringing it will stay as long as you’d like!

Hey guys… 🙂 night night MS 🙂 hope you have sweet dreams …

Just in work at the moment and not in the mood for working at all !
Ms Moneypennys eye looks a lot better low she’s been having her full dose of L-lysine . It’s opened now but her poor eye is so badly damaged and clouded. We can deal with that though as long as the swelling and discharge stops I’ll be so happy when she can open her eye up fully then the prober healing can begin. I pray she’s not left with permanent scar tissue on the eye like Noodle has..

Good morning all! …. already raining here today, in anticipation of the cold front coming ….. mid 80s yesterday will turn into the 60s in the next few days ….. rollercoaster weather, I say!

…. glad MP’s eye is opening, and I add my prayers for a quick healing and no permanent scarring …

…. today I will gather all my recipes, check my stock of ingredients/supplies and make my schedule for when to start what, etc. I am fortunate to have a large capacity oven, that will fit multiple rows and racks of casserole dishes, so I’m fitting them empty in there today, to make sure all will cook well …. I’ll probably make a brine/marinade to soak Tom (the turkey) in today, and then butter rub and season it before I pop him in the oven tomorrow ….

…. glad I don’t have to get out in the rain/mess today, traffic is already backed up in front of my house, with moms/dads trying to get their kids to school (I live a block from an elementary school) ….

…. have a great start to your Tuesday everyone!

Good morning everyone! I am doing the same thing AV, making lists, getting ingredients, because I’ve learned not to leave things to the last minute! See if everything fits before you get stuck in a predicament!
It’s chilly here today, but the wind has gone (YAY), the ground is dry, the grass is green, a beautiful November day in Ohio!
Got to stop and get some L=lysine, Leona is better, but she is a little sneezy (laying in bed with me last night), I’m sure it’s her feline herpes acting up and I’m going to put all the cats on it finally. You all have convinced me and I’m going for it!
Hope MP’s eye heals up for you Buttons, even if she can’t see out of it well, I hope it doesn’t hurt her.
Well, off to get things done around here while Avery is sleeping!

Good Morning all and snuggly night MS,

I don’t have to cook Thanksgiving dinner…I just get to attend the celebration. I have to quit messing around and make a list for my Christmas cookie baking time. I start baking this weekend. I sure am glad for that last minute thingy. That’s what I send for Christmas gifts. AV-you hit it on the spot with roller coaster weather-It’s getting warmer and going to be 60s on Thursday. Chia seed pudding? I’ve never heard of it.

I’m glad Ms. Moneypenny is getting better and I, too, hope her eye heals well.

    Have a happy 😉

Sounds like you both organised 🙂

Glad your starting all the furrys on L-lysine KZ I’m convinced it’s a life saver 🙂 and even though Ms Moneypenny was on all the meds since Thursday her eye only started improving since she gotten the full dose of L-Lysine starting on Sunday evening .. I’ve even given her 1500mg yesterday but only cause he eye was so bad I wouldn’t normally give that much if it was just weepy with slight swelling but with a risk of her loosing the vision in that eye i have to retry everything her eye is constantly half open now better than it’s been since I’ve had her but it’s so cloudy 🙁

Easy Punch Bowl Cake – Giant Parfait/LOL w/Recipe:
    Parfait cake!
    Southern Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake
    1 yellow cake mix
1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
    2 bananas
1 (16 oz.) carton Cool Whip
(Nix cool whip for whipped cream or tru-whip for more natural approach)

Bake cake in two round cake pans and set aside to cool. Make pudding and set in refrigerator to get cold. Cut one layer of cake in small chunks; put in punch bowl. Spread half of pudding on top; then add half of pineapple and one package strawberries. Slice one banana on top; half of Cool Whip, spreading to cover completely. Repeat with the other layer the same – ending with Cool Whip. Let set in refrigerator overnight.

Morning JK, PG and all who come in or will come in!
No idea what chia pudding is either! But have heard of quinoa and of course rice pudding so probably in same n’hood, dessert-wise LOL.
So on way back from spin class – toughest EVER – stunningly handsome instructor had us go 10 minutes longer and I feel it already – I stopped to pick up a few things. In n’hood just a ways over from mine, saw a black tail under a car so stopped to make sure that kit was not trapped. He was a Basement Cat and rewarded my efforts by crossing my path and posing for some pics. Then I heard barking of what seemed to be some very serious goggies with “Beware of Dog sign on fence. They were clamouring to get at me or so it seemed or at kit! Then peeps came out and reassured me. Kit is one of their crew, his name is Igor, and goggies are actual mush-pups (could’ve fooled me!), even though of the much-maligned pit-bull breed. They told me that their kits and the dogs play together and that the kits have the upper paw and rule the entire household – as it should be I added. So here’s some pics!

And now I have to seriously shower and get into work mode. No Thanksgiving here, (no Xmas either for moi) but fellow “gym rat” originally from US mentioned that when she first moved here she was amazed at how no one does anything for Canadian Thankgsgiving!

And BTW seems as though Summer has most certainly gone the “way of the wash”. No snow, but biting cold and the North Wind is letting us have it. An hour after arriving home I’m slowly thawing out and nothing short of a “red alert” is getting me out again today!

    Hi Joan, Buttons, JK, KZ,
Finished “emergency” project as briefed Sunday pm, deadline tomorrow. Now I’m about ready to take Dorry’s lead and have me a catnap. And purrhaps prior to nodding off, will do some knitting as just a few rows away from starting armholes on latest fashion effort. And watch the rest of PVR’d L & O episode, although point in time feel as though I might ditch last 2 plans and head for some zzz’s. Have not been sleeping well, in a stress state for next while, various reasons. Did tell client that by 6 pm my phone will be off, likewise ‘puter. Sometimes taken slight advantage of as 9 pm work-related phone calls, not working out for me.
JK, if you head out before i get back have a good evening.
And Buttons and KZ, if possible could you take a look at Paige’s post and purrhaps give her some advice?

I have been looking for L-lysine and can’t find any in town that’s not the solid white pill or the gel capsule. Trying to find the capsule with the powder inside. I might just order from a pet store that comes in a jar and sprinkle on their food. Now it’s taking me so long to actually find it, I want to get the right kind!
KJ, I found the thread from Paige and left her some links to read and some advice. I hope she see it and it helps!
