So much amazing kissing cuteness this morning. That first one with the little pink tongue….awww! My youngest son likes to remember how he was the first one to get a nose kiss from Emily after we adopted her.

Thanks for all the get well thoughts for Emily. I’m looking forward to getting her back today. I was the only female in a house of five males last night! I needed my LuLu (aka Emily Lu) tucked against the back of my legs. So much freedom to toss and turn…just doesn’t feel right. :).

Morning 🙂 Supposed to be a bit warm here today, over 100F I believe. Actually had rain, a lot of rain last night and a wonderful lightning show.

Leela tucks behind my knees too, ECB. It’s so cute and cozy! I was so sad when she was in her hermit phase and wouldn’t sleep on the bed. Now she will come up, but not if Mac is there. Glad Emily is home, and no wonder she is hiding, poor girl. Good luck with the injections and good luck to Leo today. Poor Eko, “WTH?!”

Hey there, KZ! Weather promises to be beautiful tomorrow, can’t wait!
It’s super humid today. A t-storm rolled thru around 4am but did nothing but add moisture to the air. My hair and skin love it! A breeze kicks up once in a while, which helped cool me while walking.

So, given the fierceness of Eko’s hissing at Emily when I let her roam the house for a short bit, I’ve realized the cats will probably need private recovery rooms for a bit. Emily has our room, Eko the living space, but I needed a place for Leo. Sons were not excited about putting a litterbox in their bedrooms (understandable) and though I could force the issue, I didn’t want to do that, so I offered to rent older sons room as a hospital recovery room for $5. Told him he could sleep on a blow up mattress in our room since Leo is an early riser. I’ll probably sleep with Leo. He liked that idea now everyone is happy. I didn’t specify how long we’d need the room…as long as we need it for $5 is how it will work…poor kids don’t really know how to negotiate. :).
