Kindly disregard the “Gone Fishin” sign on the Café door. Everything’s still up and running in honour of Aquarium Month!

    Happy Tuesday

Fishes are good. Although fishes and seafood aren’t part of a cats natural diet we keeping thinking they are at the top of the list.

We’re getting in the high 90s/32s starting tomorrow. I told my neighbors if they hear someone mowing at 7, it will be me. It’s so hot after 10, I’m going to this stuff early. Now there’s always the chance that I won’t get up. 😉

    Cya and have a happy~

Good morning! Cute pics today….love the kits caught with their paws in the fish bowl…lol.

Just caught up with yesterday’s cafe. I’m a fast walker, but slow driver. I try to be polite and patient when I’m behind a slow walker though.

Off to clean my Tuesday house in a bit. Did I mention that I’ve seen a red fox wander through her yard a couple of times recently? She thinks it’s feeding babies because they’ve seen it out hunting a lot and taking food “to go” back to the family. Client lives near the river, so good place for critters to hang out. It’s the same yard where a saw the giant land crab a couple of years ago.

    Happy Tuesday!

That image of the Tuxie “asking the fishes to play,” reminds me of Miss Moppet. That expression on the “fish sticks” cat is priceless.

I’m awake. Now, I have to convince myself to get out and mow. *sigh*

Fish may not be a part of most cats’ natural diet, but they certainly do fish in places when they can scoop the fish out of the water.

Oh yes, I once had an outside cat that scooped several of my large goldfish out of the pond onto dry land–my flower beds. It happened in the evening and when I came outside the next morning there were fishies laying about amongst the flowers. I was devastated. They were my pets and to find them dead broke my heart. She didn’t eat them thankfully, but flipped them out just to play with them. 😐

I like fish. Mr. KZ has acquired a taste for it after a loooonnngggg trial period. I like ocean fish better than the fresh water fish that can be caught around here though.

I’m thinking since Mr. KZ is gone for the day–Avery and I and older granddaughters need to do lunch!

I love fish! and eat is every chance I get. I think I mentioned before I had the best grouper sandwich I think I’ve ever had on Father’s day, when I took Mr. AV to a beach/tiki bar for lunch …. It was purrfectly grilled with a thick slice of cheese and the softest bun – it was SO good!

Aww, KZ, I know how you feel about your fishies – mine are my pets too, and I was devastated when mine died from too much hose water (I forgot about it) 🙁
Well, good thing is, we put in a super duper filtration system, so they won’t die if I forget to remove the hose …. and my new stock of fishes have grown from about 1-2″ to over 5″ now …. only the large sucker fish Hazel survived and she is well over 12″ …. looks like a small shark! ….

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday, L8R all!

What are the odds? Jaws was released on Fishy’s Day in 1975!

I love fish; don’t really cook red meat any more, but I’d also be upset if my pet fish had died. I’ve had fish and a turtle, and loved them very much.

    Interesting info re “Jaws” PG.

Guess you’re feeling better if you were up to mowing lawn.

Lagatta, I think purrhaps you were posting at moi yesterday re fast walking, not KZ. What can I say, It’s not for exercise, I just move fast, have never bumped into anyone, and if ever I did, I would not do them great harm as I am so very “spritely” LOL. If I see an elderly person, movin’ slow I go around them. In any case, no worries.

So glad that day has been gotten through. And pressies were involved. A pair of srsly Julie Newmar-esque kit sunglasses, sorta like these:

And a Cartier-style “Love” bracelet, but def not Cartier. Mine has white opal or abalone-look inlay and is far more delicate, prettier IMHO:

What with my browser issues I can’t post pics of actual items, but you get the idea.

Plus both items were bought at classy boutique, cash goes to charity!

Now unfortunately I think I murdered by Walkman style CD player. Got caught in a deluge on way to gym, and even with umbrella everything got somewhat soggy, shoes, sweater, not fun. Blow dryer took care of shoes, reg dryer took care of sweater. But neither a plan for CD player. Following advice to put the thing into a bag of rice and ideally dry it out.

Anyway had to do DIY spin class without music. No biggie but still. So ordered me a new one, very hard to find what with this ipod etc. generation. Don’t think it will play burned CDs but I have a plethora of originals.

I need rest, rest … and more rest as was up efurry hr last night until alarm went off at 5:20 am! 😮

Indeed. I couldn’t possibly imagine you ploughing into an elderly person as there are many on your main drag and in the relevant métro station. I studied at UdM and saw a medical professional for a while in your area nearby, as well as some historical research at the library I’d mentioned earlier, and have friends there, so know the neighbourhood reasonably well.

Good afternoon all, we have gone from a little sunshin to quite overcast as a nasty weather front comes down the island with heavy rains. HRH Shadz is outside making the most of it while the weather holds. One of our cats used to wander down to the creek behind our house and catch his own fish.
Wow, that is interesting about Jaws release PG. I wonder if that was intentional. Are you really mowing? Your leg must feel better if you are.

Feeling better doesn’t have much to do with doing hard tasks, RIGHT KJ?

My knee is hurting but I made sure I took breaks. Hopefully, I didn’t overdo it.

“That doesn’t look like fish to me” LOL! Poor HRH-I’m sure she doesn’t like the shifts in weather esp. one hour to the next hour.

Now, I need to get my leg up. Cya

    Point taken PG! 😉

Well MS, that first pic relates to a new household prob as discovered tonight. My throne needs repair as one of the pieces in the tank is cracking. And if it doesn’t get fixed soon I will be joining it hehehe. So at a pretty late hour I called my go-to fix-it guy. Sent him pics of problem and ideally he has the piece on hand, or can get it. He did explain that I can flush in the meantime by simply lifting the chain. Well, how would I know? Phoned landlord and left msg then emailed him as I was for sure not going to wait to have a discussion.

Well thankfully my entire day wasn’t in the toilet – hah! Time for a bit of knitting, a bit of TV then bed.

Hi all – I’m late to the fishy party. Love the kitty with his birthday present!
Nice long walk/hike this morning then went down the valley to mom’s. Then went to the movies. It was an encore Rifftrax show. The MST3K gang riffed a bunch of shorts.
Being out of the house most of the day meant the baby had lots of energy when he got out of his crate for a while, going after my trip of course. Dewey seems to decided to sit this one out; he was waiting for us to come home, but then went to check on things on this beautiful night.
See you in the Wednesday cafe!
