    I’d like to go on a tour of English countryside in a classic convertible, maybe not in ’39 LOL. Took me a while til I found what looks to be guy lifting a teeny black kit in 2nd pic. The vintage clothes and cars that were not vintage back then. Whole gallery looks like stills from a PBS series that I would want to watch. 🙂

    yes, I’m wierd, I do not like anything with a sweet taste …… which unfortunately is most fruit …. the evil yellow thingys are also a turn-off for me texture-wise ….. all squishy and yucky! ….. I can force down watermelon and grapefruit – but only with a lot of salt …. the ONLY fruit that I truly like, and in fact LOVE, are avacados – and I eat them with salt/pepper and balsamic vinegar ….. I guess we all have our idiocracies

    Oooh that strawberry/lemonade smoothie looks great! AV, you put salt on grapefruit? I don’t eat them, too bitter for me, but when I have had them, I put a ton of sugar on them!
    Just had some fresh rhubarb pie at my mom’s, courtesy of brother’s garden.

    Brother has more rhubarb than he knows what to do with! I took 4 last fall and stuck them in the ground. Only one came up, but it looks pretty good. Here it comes, thru the wormhole! Maybe the kitties will make pies. Or, you can enjoy them the way my family did when we were kids – rinse the stalks off with a garden hose and dunk them in sugar. The sugar takes the bitterness out of them and eating them raw is good if you like crunchy versus soft.

    Wow…mine died out a few years ago/too shaded. I want to get another plant…to try again. Have some up north. It’s always later…may find some when head up in July! An old boss used to eat raw rhubarb but with salt/:(…um, I’ll pass on both/sorry!

    Ok saw this tip for litter and it sounds quite reasonable with the issues of one litter lately…

    bags of pine pellets, which is sold at the feed store as horse bedding for $6.00 for a 40 pound bag. This is the equivalent of Feline Pine but way less expensive.

    I have been aware of this because the cat was brought to the hospital my sister works at. I haven’t been able to speak about it here.

    In a nutshell, if you do not want to read the details, is that big-time efforts are being made to bring justice for Quattro the cat. It’s a sad fact that animal abuse leads to human abuse and the person or persons involved must be held accountable.
    Cases like these remind me of our dear late TDKr Cindy, whose wish was to not necessarily go to heaven, but to show animal abusers the other door.

    Of course I had to go back and re-check ’39 gallery Joan LOL. Now I see the Tux in pic 3. I actually have a khaki skirt almost exactly like the one Mrs. Just Married is wearing in that pic. I even wear it with flats and/or sneaks and ankle socks. But she’s the real deal!
    AV now I’m forewarned. Tks Joan. My first guess was correct, I mean how many evil yellow fruits are there. Must admit I rely on banana as potassium fix, though. Me, I can’t stand watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew or anything remotely similar.

    That abuse story. You did provide major warning Joan, which I did not heed. We had case in my neighbourhood where psycho was “collecting” kitties on shelter adoption days, I’m not going on … These inhuman creeps will get free “counselling” which will not work and down the road G-d forbid the world will have another Jeffrey Dahmer (may he rot in Hell). What should be done with such cruel so-called humans? I’m not going on …

    JK, IMHO no apologies needed for headline veering towards unpurriness in this situation. Signed petition, also stated my opinion and yes, kept it to the point, and purry. I would have run out of curse words had I let myself go. Anyway I’d better not get myself started again. Just a little while ago was having discussion and someone noted that peeps find it easier to find excuses, eg “X had a bad childhood…” She said that there is such a thing as pure evil. Sadly I agree 100%. *KJ get off your soapbox before we drag you off*

    oh, I can’t even read the abuse story (I can’t watch the TV commercials either) …. but I will sign the petition against it! …. makes me too sad and I have a hard time getting images out of my head ……

    what a sweet family of kits, JK …. each a different color! so pretty!
