Good evening, we’re at the end of a long day here. Just relaxing and winding down. I’ll have a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows from the chef kitties.
The winds are blowing very strongly here tonight and heavy rain will be arriving overnight. HRH Shadz is snuggled up in her beanbag after staying out late hunting.
Catch you on the flip side.

Greetings from the Old Pueblo, sitting here eating Brownie Brittle, Salted Caramel type…they are so good, addictive though.

Jan, love the Goodnight picture 🙂 Sleep well, have sweet dreams, and scritches for HRH in the morn.

We are supposed to get rain either on Tuesday evening or Wednesday, all will be welcomed of course.

Good morning, with chocolate on top! That kitten MS posted has the most striking stripes! I have a thing for stripes.

    Those flowers are amazing, Deb.

Morning all~nighty, night MS! AND I have a thing for chocolate…I’ll take mine plain please…it’s my belief that chocolate contains beneficial horomones that keep ones emotions and feelings and taste buds on an even keel. It has healing qualities and is necessary for human life.
Rainy here today, but very welcome, warm (50) at 7 a.m., very unusual for Ohio this time of year, but I’ll take it. Got ready to do my TDK cards, and I have no cards. I can’t find them… 😐 (Joan is it possible, we might be sisters somehow, LOL!?) I’ll make a trip to get more, and venture to our post office (UGH), why didn’t I do this before the rush? I will be wrapping my heart out now, because I always procrastinate and wait to wrap until the last minute. I’m weird like that I guess, my sister wraps as she gets stuff, but then she doesn’t have kids or grandkids in and out and her husband helps. (Husband helping? What’s that!?) 😀
Guess I’ll hit the showers, but first I just remembered it’s trash day and must get cat boxes cleaned…..

    Morning KZ!

Secretary of the procrastinators club here, the annual newsletter will be put out in the near future or there abouts 🙂

I usually have my cards done by the end of October, not this year though 🙁 Just lucky that I am remembering to breathe this year, but I do have about 25-30 boxes of cards that I found and are now in a clear see-through bin so I can find them next year.

Good Morning/Evening, guessing Shadz is cozy and slumbering at this point. I would like a chocolate covered keyboard, without the keyboard! The dark chocolate kitty is adorable!
KZ, it would seem your cards are hiding with my labels. I think Jeankit was missing something also. Gremlins? Mischievous cyber kitties? We may never know.

    Morning all!

Well my cards went out as I am not involved in Xmas rush at all, TDKer’s being the only peeps who I send holiday cards to so if you were on the list mine should arrive shortly as this year I elected to go the snail mail route.
KZ, chocolate is indeed a good thing, I believe that there is scientific proof that backs up this claim. 🙂
ECB, if you have a penchant for stripey kitties (with some swirls) I’ll send my Dorry thru the wormhole for a playdate with your crew. Not so sure that he plays well with others, and he will probably “hit on” Miss Emily, but you have my purrmission to put the boy in his place. Oh, he insists that I send this larger photo for Miss Emily’s scrapbook! 😉

Which part of chocolate keyboard would you eat first Joan? The space bar? Enquiring minds want to know LOL.

On a sadder note and tragically timed in keeping with today’s theme, a moment of pause for the victims of the hostage situation in Sydney, Australia’s Lindt Chocolat Café:

Katrina Dawson, 38. A lawyer and mother of three, shot while trying to shield a pregnant friend.

Tori Johnson, 34. Café manager, said to have died while trying to end the siege and wrestle the gun from hostage-taker.

    Rest in peace.

Thanks for posting a bigger pic of Dorry, he is so handsome!
So if anyone has noticed the change in my posting habits, it’s because I’m out of that place. Today is my first day “off the books”. It is the purrfect time for a change for me, and though I don’t know what that change is. For now, it’s temporary semi-retirement!

Hi KJ, I guess we were typing at the same time. Such a sad situation in Australia. *pauses and reflects*
    * * * * *
I think a big bite out of the center of that keyboard would be appropriate!

Morning all! ….. I woke to City workers outside my window, replacing telephone poles and digging up my yard 🙁

…. I live in one of the oldest parts of the City (100+ years), so all our utility poles are above ground, with wires overhead, crossing everywhere! …. (ugh! how efficient *sarcasm*) …….. anywhoo, I wanted to thank all for the cards, they are starting to trickle in, and I’m loving everyone of them! … there are some people, who I can’t find on the holiday list, and I would love to send you a card, but don’t know your address! – specifically ECBrown, Pussigato and Judith come to mind, I’m sure there are others ….. If you would like to share your addresses with me (I think you can message me from this site), I’d love to pop a card in the mail to you … if not, that’s fine, just know that I love getting to know you on TDK and look forward to posting with you all in the furry/purry new year 🙂 ….. big holiday/group TDK (((((HUG))))) all around …..

…. one day down, four more to go of this last busy work week before I can relax for the holidays … like MS, one more day crossed off til we see our children back home 🙂 ….. *happy dances* with excitment!

I appreciate seeing Dorry in all his glory, no rhyme intended…but hey, it works! His little curled up paw is so cute!
Yes, KJ, a terrible, tragic situation for them and for the world…another crack in my broken heart…..
Deb, a clear see thru bin would be awesome, and I bow down to you O Christmas card queen, you rule….. 😉
Joan, so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to just take a step out on faith….or NOT, lol, just have a seat and eat some chocolate!

    Very sad events in Australia.

Yay, Joan! So you’re done with that place? That’s terrific! Your holidays will have a little extra brightness!

Oh, yes…love stripes and swirls. Dorry looks fantastic and Emily will enjoy playing with him. She has no trouble putting the boy cats in their place.

Speaking of Emily. She has been so intent on stealing food lately I figured I’d better weigh her to make sure she’s getting enough food. I used to weigh them all once a month, but hadn’t since Lubbock. Emily hasn’t lost an ounce…lol. But she looks good, trim and athletic except for a little spay sway. And the vet said her weight is fine. Leo, I think, continued to grow a bit into his fourth year. He’s now 15.6 lbs and not a bit fat….just long and tall.

Tks for all the compliments on Dorry’s behalf – he’ll be throwing then back in my face every time he feels under apurr-eciated in his n’hood as my 800 sq ft of home space LOL. And he’s a lean, mean, grrl-kitty lovin’ machine as not 10 lbs, seems to stay the same size as per yearly vet visits. Works for me!
