Love the pics, esp the ‘what watermelon’ and the angry apple with a knife.

PG, the apple with the knife … I’ll never look at that fruit in quite the same way again for quite some time!
MS, the teeny kitty in the banana case …. thud … ploof. Banana haters, avert your eyes! 😉
In our province, unless one’s case comes into hptl as an emergency, peeps needing knee/hip replacements are on a list. A very long list. Friend works for surgeon and I’d say half her time is spent trying to calm down peeps constantly calling to ask when they will have their surgery. Lady in my gym locker row is in obvious pain, waiting for months now with no surgery date in sight. Health care system rife with probs, many doctors simply leave after graduating med school. Or peeps can go private and pay big-time. Not fluffy.

Good Tuesday everyone! LOVE the banana kitten too! I almost hurt myself on that one! Nighty night MS, hope when you wake up, your knee is healed. No fun when the joints start acting up….hips, knees, ankles *sigh* it’s the human condition.
Rainy, cloudy, dark and foggy here this morning but it’s 50*. I’m not complaining though, nice and restful. I could seriously lay down and sleep, but Avery won’t have it. AND I think she needs her diaper changed as there is a strange aroma emanating from her little self. I guess I’ll go take care of that then come back upstairs as the carpets up here need serious vacuuming! Does anyone else let their upstairs go like I do?
    I’ll check in later all!

    Good morning – “wut watermelon?”
Rainy day here in Jersey, but I still wound up with 4 customers at the back door. I put a bowl of crunchies in the dog crate but they haven’t figured out its a dry place to eat yet, sitting out in the drizzle instead. Silly kitties.
KZ, my upstairs tends to get less attention too!

Hi KJ, MS, KZ, JJ and others lurking,

So many cute pics! I like the lemon head cat and night kittah.

I do hope you’re is feeling better, MS. Many people complain but I am grateful for the Veteran Medical Center. If I need something they get it done. That’s not say there aren’t problems with the VAMC, I’ve just been fortunate.

Well, I don’t have an upstairs but I do need to dust. I hate to dust and only do it when there are paw prints in the dust. Everywhere else is clean though.

The maintenance guy is here fixing stuff. My gang is in the bedroom but Miss Moppet is pawing under the door.

I don’t have an upstairs either, unless you count the rooftop which by definition does not come with my condo rental. There is a ladder leading up to it though! Anyone recall TV show from ‘way back “Love On A Rooftop?”
Anyway, I have an editing job beckoning me which ideally must get done today so L8R.BTW I love correcting/enhancing other peeps stuff. And this one is paying job, not much, but it will take care of one of the two new coats that I just bought. 🙂

Good morning all. Knee is a less painful and there is less swelling. As difficult as it is for me to keep off my feet I have to admit it is working. My fitness tracker readout looks abysmal though.
What is that odd buzzy sound? Is someone sleeping in the Cafe? Oh ! It’s AV taking a nap on the patio after her exhausting but exciting week in Vegas. Spreads cover over her and takes permanent marker away from cheeky tabby cat.

KZ, holding my hand up about the upstairs being slightly neglected.
JJ, one of our farm cats loved to sit on a fence post in light rain, she did it without fail. I guess it was her shortcut to bathing. Shadz is a rain watcher and will sit in light rain too and then come inside and insist on being towelled off. Again I think it’s her method of lazy bathing. Have the kitties seen the crunchies in the crate? Sometimes they can be quite obstinate about changing their habits but all it takes is one to get the idea the the others will follow.
Dust ! I hate dusting. That was my job every Saturday as a child and it had to be down ‘just so’ or it was done again and again. I don’t dust as often as I should now.
    Waving to KJ and JK.

Glad that you’re feeling somewhat better MS. Why not just turn the fitness tracker thing off? It’s not fair, as it doesn’t know about your knee problem! To keep me from moving about would take a “camisole de force” which is the pretty French term for strait waistcoat AKA straitjacket hehehe.
Finished editing job. But sadly it seems that yet again I have harmed a library book beyond repair. 🙄 Yes, I was reading it in the bath and no it did not go for a swim. It’s being sent to my more local library for a final verdict. Worse case scenario, $30 and I get to keep a very nice decorating book. So not the end of the world.
Need some distraction as for reasons my stress is accelerating. Painted one of my found little shelves and going to install it in my self-made walk-in closet as a shelf for shoes of the day for when I put my next day outfit together. Yup, I am my own purrsonal stylist LOL. I know it may make little sense, but anything that keeps my mind off other things is a good thing.

    Waves to MS!
Must report that office tree is now secured with a brick under tree skirt and
new sales guy’s little stocking added to trimmings!
So much for holiday fun at this place.
Yay, almost that time to exit stage left out of here! 🙂
With that will offer smooch/mwah to Tux…back on the flip as Wootsday, later!

    Wee-holiday fun.

Oh, I like that “camisole de force”…the name not the jacket. They can be uncomfortable 😉 If the book didn’t go for swim what happened to it? hmmm
I was going to ask you why you’re stressed but I remember Chanukah is next week not to mention many more holidays this month. If you need help with TDK just put a shout out.

Well, it does make me feel a little better about the upstairs not getting vacuumed and dusted like the downstairs if you guys do it too. I would love one of those gadgets like AV has, but looked at the price and 😮 I would rather have a good Hazel to come once a week and do her thing…but how can I do that when I’m here all the time with Avery? I would rather be gone a few hours like having a pedicure or something…hehehe!

*slips quietly into the cafe so as not to wake AV*
PG, hope the repairs got done without the kitties’ supervision!
Helped myself to one of those doughnuts, JK. Mmm, virtual calorie free are the best! Glad the office tree is secure, if I remember correctly, it took a spill last year.
Oh KJ, what is it with you and books and water? Glad you got the job done, though, and distracted yourself with diy.
Glad the knee is a wee bit better, MS. The fitness app on my phone is bad today because I didn’t walk today – too rainy.
I would love one of those self vacuums too, KZ. Maybe Santa will bring one.

Saw those roomba things too, way expensive. Wonder what would happen if it encountered Dorry???
Actually I was getting out of bath and just for a nano-sec book took a dip, not a regular swim like the others have. Considering that this was some 5 weeks or more ago, and that I returned it to library chute in my fabric bag which did not get wet, same for other 3 books in bag, how damaged could the book be? OK, purrhaps slightly wrinkled, but I told library tech that I have taken out books that look like they got stomped on. We’ll see if the other library is more lenient, else the cost and the book are mine.
Mini shelf looks neat. For job just have to check out some variations that client is doing in am and then it goes to designer and I’m done with it.
Tks PG, I know whose door to knock on if need be, and it’s appreciated. Stress has nothing to do with Chanukah, different peeps do different things, I light candle each night and srsly cleaned my chanukiah (candelabra) after hol last yr, not a job that even the best Hazel would enjoy. Gifts would only be for children so nothing to buy, ‘cept for the ones that I get myself. As for other hols in Dec, peeps who I know celebrate Xmas are TDKers so that’s no stressor at all.
Stress is due to some stuff that trust me no one wants details of. As long as the “camisole de force” is not called into force. How would you know about the comfort level of said wardrobe item PG? Hmmm … 😉
Now it’s bed for me. Dorry might be slightly ‘nipped out as I let him play with his nip-stuffed lion for a long while. Wish that I could join him in la-la land. Plus it’s pouring out and freezing rain threatens, although supposedly with warmer temps tomorrow my weather fears will not be realized.
Hey Buttons – wonderful to see you! I think of and miss you!
