After my diagnosis with Hashimoto’s I had to go on a strict diet. No Gluten, at all. It was no easy task! I stay away from Gluten now, but once in awhile, I make this awesome, gluten free bread, recipe.

You may wish to try it, share it on your page for those that need good, gluten free recipes.

Gluten in a tough thing to avoid, Deb. But I bet you’re so much healthier for it. Hubby and I do this thing, a nutritional cleanse, a couple of times per year where for 3 weeks you eat things that are not common allergens and are easy to digest. So no gluten, dairy, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, and quite a few other things. It feels great but would be hard to keep up long term. But we pick up new healthy recipes and habits each time we do it.

Well, before I fell in our subway, bruised knee, call to physio resulting in applying arnica, ice, Tylenol – I need this? Did have a purry experience. Saw woman with cat carrier, of course had to take a peek, inside discovered not one but 3 of the cutest kitties ever! 6 wks old, she’s fostering for our SPCA. 1 orangie, 1 creamsicle/orangie, 1 pale silver tabby. Should have been a COA sticker on carrier. Told her about TDK and that she might be a foster fail as in keeping the trio of the cutest kittens ever! So I’m out of Café now for next 2 days and about to have me a good cry ’cause I my knee’s sore and I’m just overwhelmed. Thanks for allowing me to rant although I did not ask for permission. Have a good 2 days all!

    Michael Jackson on Beer Bottles

    – We now have our first single out on iTunes –
Check out our version of Party Rock Anthem – Bottle Remix:
    https://itunes.apple.com/dk…

Hi everybody! Once again it is time for BOTTLE MONDAY (last monday of the month) which means, that a new video is released! We are so excited for this one, because we simply just LOVE Michael Jackson. Billie Jean is a really great song and it is perfect for trying out our new technique: double bottle playing. The dentists don’t recommend this we can assure! ;-D

Nerdtalk: We decided to make the video in a church because of the nice reverb. For recording we used two Neumann km184 stereo mics with Apogee Duet 🙂

At the moment we are insanely busy with a lot of concerts (a lot of them abroad), mainly because of our youtube videos, and for that we are truly grateful!! So thank you everybody for supporting us:-D
Also Thanks to Mariendal Kirke for letting us film in the beautiful church.

We really hope you like this video and that you’ll share it with the rest of the world:-D

    Have a nice day everybody!!!

Deb, that vegan chili looks good, might try to make it or at least pass it to my sister who is a vegetarian.
Hey Buttons, I kept meaning to say something about the turmeric. I put it on my shopping list today. Thank you, worth trying!

A friend of ours posted this and we just had to share it for everyone to read. This is one of the sweetest things we’ve ever read… get the tissues ready! Thank you (to our friend) Will for sharing this.

“I saw this elderly gentleman dining by himself, with an old picture of a lady in front of him. I though maybe I could brighten his day by talking to him.

As I had assumed, she was his wife. But I didn’t expect such an interesting story. They met when they were both 17. They dated briefly, then lost contact when he went to war and her family moved. But he said he thought about her the entire war. After his return, he decided to look for her. He searched for her for 10 years and never dated anyone. People told him he was crazy, to which he replied “I am. Crazy in love”. On a trip to California, he went to a barber shop. He told the barber how he had been searching for a girl for ten years. The barber went to his phone and called his daughter in. It was her! She had also been searching for him and never dated either.

He proposed immediately and they were married for 55 years before her death 5 years ago. He still celebrates her birthday and their anniversary. He takes her picture with him everywhere and kisses her goodnight.

    Some inspiring things he said;

“I was a very rich man. Not with money, but with love”

“I never had a single argument with my wife, but we had lots of debates”

“People are like candles. At any moment a breeze can blow it out, so enjoy the light while you have it.”

“Tell your wife that you love her everyday. And be sure to ask her, have I told you that I love you lately?”

Be sure to talk to the elderly. Especially strangers. You may think that you will brighten their day, but you may be surprised that they can actually brighten yours.”

Good morning all, Something fishy in the Cafe? Fish is a bad word in our house at the moment. we were going to have a fish curry for dinner lastnight but the fish that Mr MS had caught and we had frozen had freezer burn and an awful smell. Mr MS cooked it on the bbq………….
    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! !
Shadz has just let a live mouse go inside! It has run behind the furniture.
See you later folks, I’m off on a mouse hunt.
Oh BTW, this means that she is definitely healing from her stomatitis.

Have never tried this but thinking of it!

Did you know that you can grow roses from cuttings?

Simply cut healthy stems, place them in large potatoes, and them bury them 3-4 inches deep in a healthy soil mixture of peat moss and top soil. The potatoes keep the stems moist and help develop the root systems. It’s a perfectly simple way to multiply your rose garden without spending lots of $$$.

IS THERE A MONSTER IN YOUR PET’S BOWLS?
    * Please SHARE This Post Widely *

If you simply top off your pet’s water dish, you could be creating a monster that will attack your pet from the inside out. Many of us are guilty of simply refilling the water bowl when it gets close to empty, but the water that sits around will form a slimy residue that hosts dangerous bacteria and fungus will begin to grow. Some pet guardians may not even notice that their pet will start shying away from a dirty water bowl and become mildly dehydrated or, worse yet, seek water from unsafe areas indoors or out. And what about the food dish? No, licking the bowl ‘clean’ isn’t a possibility. Please be kind.

PLASTIC BOWLS ARE A BAD IDEA:
Food and water dishes should be made from stainless steel, heavy glass or ceramic and should be washed daily. Plastic dishes may contain a hazardous substance called BPA which leaches into your pets water and is a known carcinogen. This can break down further in the dish washer. Plastic also absorbs odors and becomes very unpleasant to a pet’s sensitive sense of smell.

    3 WAYS TO WASH BOWLS:
    1. Run them through the hottest cycle of the dishwasher to get them really clean and sterilized.
    2. Wash and thoroughly rinse with dish detergent and a clean abrasive sponge to release all organic material from the sides of the bowls
    3. Or, try scrubbing with a mix of equal parts baking soda, salt and warm water.
