I am sure this topic has been asked before, but I cannot find a search. Has anyone got any good links or info on transitioning to raw cat food and can anyone recommend a company in the Toronto Ontario area. We have narrowed it down to http://foodfurlove.com/ but any feedback would be much appreciated.

These links are excellent, very lengthy, but full of really good information. Enjoy!

Hi Adam, I guess you are transitioning your cat from wither dry or canned.
My cat has always had raw meat with occasional canned if I run out of raw, she has dry cat food always available should she get hungry.
Raw feeding has been the traditional way of feeding pet cats here in NZ although with the plethora of canned available now many cats wouldn’t know what raw tastes like.
My cat eats mainly beef in the form of steak chunks(definitely not the best steak) finer cut beef or steak and kidney. Beef heart is also excellent. She also loves some raw chicken, I just buy whet the family would eat. Chicken wings(raw) are great for a cat and help clean their teeth. Never feed a cat cooked chicken bones as they splinter.
Good luck with the change over. You may have to alternate meals between fresh raw and the previous food until your cat gets used to it all.
