Time to move this shindig to Tuesday with some fresh hot and cold noms and drinks.

A walk on the beach sounds beautiful; perhaps I’ll play hookey one of these days and disappear to the Jersey shore for a while.

Kitties are wandering around here, some looking for laps to lounge on and others looking to play.

    Welcome!

Good morning ladies, I guess the kitties took care of those yummie noms leftover yesterday! Look, a few of the kits are still in nom comas! Is that anything like a nipp coma?

Have a great day, basking in the sunshine today!

Deb, that first one made me giggle – reminded me of the Shaddo/Jiggs era. The second one was a giant AWWWW!

For what was supposed to be a cloudy, grey day, it’s a sunny day here in Jersey!

G’mornin’ from sunny & may reach 60’s today…woo hoo! Fun links Deb, thanks for the smile! Hi Joan, walk around the shoreline sounds like something I’d like to do soon too tho lake Mich can be pretty blustery even when it’s warm out! Hi Kilory, scritches to our fave Orangie Georgie! My kits were huggly this morning…just luv it when they are sooo sweet! They slept about 3″ from each other, which is a new one…usually one at the head of bed & other at foot…maybe snuggle bunny-kits is not totally out of the question/someday! Sipping peppermint java today so a choco choco chip muffin would be great to tackle pile o’billy buds. Soon end of year for us so will be bizzy! Ok, back to more fun round 1 of day 2…later, but first a smooch for Tux! Almost missed ya hi Debster & zoo crew!

My duo were happy the woodburner was going last night, taking the chill out of the house. They actually laid in tandum in front of it, although Leela complained at one point that Comet was laying too close to her!

We were going to do some landscaping this spring – in hindsight we could have done it during the winter since it was so mild. There are 3 trees right up against the house that are real eyesores, so they were going to come down in favor of some smaller, manageable shrubs. However, the blue jays, which we hardly saw all winter, have moved in and made a nest! So that tree and the one next to it will stay. I can’t see the nest to catch the action, but it’s exciting to have babies on the way!

Sounds like a great outdoor plan Joan! Ooo Blue Jays are so striking along with Cardinals plus I’m fond of Chickadees too! I had many more songbirds this year because of the mild weather. (Aren’t Blue Jays the birds that like oranges…have to remember to put 1/2 out soon!)

Here is a link to fruit eating birds. I stand corrected as Orioles enjoy oranges and Bluebirds like grapes!!

Oh, I didn’t know that about oranges, I will leave them some as a baby shower gift!

The chickadees enjoyed my windowsill feeder this winter, (as did Leela and Comet!) and I love to hear them sing. But then the bears woke up, so no more feeders, especially at the kitchen window!

ETA: Ok, well I can put orange out anyway, I like when the orioles come to visit, plus we have woodpeckers that are awesome to watch. Sorry, grape-loving birds, they get a bit messy on my car & truck!
