Sounds like a fun time JJ! The tye-dye clothes are for baby? IMHO they are in style and always will be. I would need N. to assemble a chest, I sorely lack those skills. *Sigh* Are Theo and Moe aware that a new arrival is arriving? As to when the Little Man arrives there’s the Jewish saying “b’sha’ah tovah,” or “in a good hour” meaning I hope all goes perfectly! πŸ™‚ Think it works for all faiths!

Thank you KJ. Yep, found a few tye-dye things at this hippie shop in Rehoboth, then found more stuff online. Onsies and t-shirts and socks, oh my!
The nursery has a few shelves for the cats as well as a cat perch. Theo and Moe have used them and from their vantage point they will be able to see into the crib. Niece has baby blankets around the house to get the scent swapping started. Once all the shower gifts are home, they can check that out as well. Bonus, they will probably score a few boxes too!

Good morning all. I’m glad that wee stretching kitty had you all going ‘awwwwwwwwwwwwww’. It saw me off to bed with a smile o my face. Isn’t it so sweet. I wish I felt that agile at the moment, I think I injured something yesterday and now I have a very painful outer knee and swollen ankle. πŸ™ Seeing the Dr later in the day. Fingers crossed I haven’t torn something. No idea how it happened, it just suddenly hurt. HRH just spent 10 minutes snuggled on my chest/shoulder so maybe she knows I am hurting.
AV, you Fall table is so beautiful. Sorry about the colds you both have. That is great about the water purification system, I hope it makes a difference for you. My bad, but I keep forgetting to welcome Caddy to the TDK family. Please give her a chin scritch from me and I hope we see her through the wormhole soon.
KZ, good on you for being a lazy bum. I was hoping to do that yesterday(Sunday) but a 7.25am phone call that rudely woke us up was just the beginning of a very un-lazy bum day. πŸ™ Oh KZ Mr MS and I are the same about power tools and anything for the house. LOL at a man with new equipment looking for something to try it out on. We were using Mr MS’s newly acquired pole saw to assist with the tree downsizing yesterday and there were at least 4 other chainsaws standing by. Mr MS and his brother both worked in the tree industry many years ago.
KJ ! You really crack me up laughing at the thought of you with a chainsaw. Just stick to discovering new cycles on your washer, safer for all I think KJ.

    πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜† 😯 πŸ˜†
Yay for PG’s pics reappearing. Wow, Magic in Medieval Times sounds a very interesting topic PG. As KJ says feel free to share.
πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ Quite interesting is the fact that gold is not formed on Earth but comes from space.
KZ, I know what you mean about not knowing what your water will be like on a farm. Once when our first baby was about 5 months old and on a bottle Mr MS came home and asked how the water had been. I said ‘oh no different than usual. Why?’ He informed me that on checking the stream our water came from that looped through the neighbours farm and a swamp(which filtered it) before returning to ours, he had found a decaying sheep carcass. ! ! ! πŸ˜₯
    Hi JJ,
    OOps gotta fly.

That really sucks big time MS!
Just when you’re getting into the exercise thing and enjoying it. Well, at very least you’re seeing the doctor right away and I hope that injury is nothing srs and heals in record time.
PG, I just checked out Coursera site. Some really neat stuff, but hard to tell which courses are free. One that might or might not be free is taught by one Bruce Holsinger, a prof and author who specializes in medieval stuff. Course is about Plague Times … etc. His fiction was recommended to me by Knit Circle cohort. As expected my browser is too out-dated to access/log-in. πŸ™ At some point I might find myself doing an upgrade rethink. ‘Puter still works though and upgrade of OS not all that simple IMO. As in none of my current software would be compatible or some transferring would be req’d. About which I know next to nothing. This figuratively makes my head hurt. If I get srs I would give my tech guy a call.

I’m back. Seems I overdid it yesterday and have a flare-up of the arthritis, so it’s anti-inflamms and rest but I will still attend my classes and just do left side exercises. It sucks monkey toes but more cuddles from HRH Shadz will help me get over it. Thanks for the good wishes KJ.
JJ, the oak toy chest sounds like a great present and tye-dyed clothing? I’ll be willing a October 23rd arrival.
Time for lunch and pain meds. A little cold chicken and avocado I think.

Ouch! You probably twisted your leg, MS. They say alternating ice and heat will make you feel better. I prefer sympathy.

This is why you need proper grammar JJ: “First baby for niece, who is 35.” Who is 35, niece or first baby?

KJ-You can audit Prof. Holsinger’s course for free. If you want a fancy paper saying you finished the course then it will cost you. πŸ˜†

PG, we were posting at the same time.
Titter giggle, on the grammar. Sometimes the fingers slip while typing and I find when reading it back I have written something unintentionally hilarious.

MS, good that it’s not a stress fracture or pulled something or other. Which helps your pain not at all. Pain meds should help. And for sure let your fitness instructor know about this. I only mention this ’cause while it might seem so very logical, lots of peeps in my classes say nothing and instructor does not know not to push them and they do not get benefit of any modifications that might be suggested.
PG, for sure I would not need a fancy paper, my fancy paper with my fancy uni degree has probably gone “the way of the wash.” LOL. As mentioned would need updated browser, meaning updated operating system, meaning could be a “back-burner” plan.

MS, so sorry you are in pain, yes, it does suck monkey toes!! At least nothing is broken or torn!! Had to laugh when you mentioned a pole saw–Mr. KZ got one of those at the beginning of summer, and jeez, you never saw so many trimmed limbs in your life! What is it about men and new tools?
Oh and KJ, I almost screamed when I read you had thought about a chainsaw–don’t even think about it–we value you too much to have you risk lopping off one of your appendages!!
Well, I’m off to bed….that alarm goes off way early these days. 😐

R.I.C.E MS. Rest, ice, compression, elevation. That should do the trick. If ice hurts you need heat. You’ll be able to tell. It’s probably just a muscle strain which doesn’t need elevation just rest and doesn’t need pressure either. Hope you feel better soon.

The other thing I thought of MS was calcium. It can get depositrd certain places. Ask your doc. Exercise is great for anything that ails you might you might have to take it a little easier than most. Nice to see they have avocados down there. One of my favorites other than fish. Mexicans mush them up. Guacamole. Not s fan. I like them whole.

Thanks for the RICE reminder YB, it is something I have been doing. Yes we have avocados here, in fact I live in a huge avocado growing area. If it’s not Kiwifruit then it’s avocado in this area. Thankfully they have recently come down in price from $6 each to $1 each so it’s avocado on toast for breakfast and avocado salads for lunch and dinner.

Wow, we are on our second page for the Cafe. It’s been a little while since we have hit two pages.

6 bucks NZ is more US! Wow! They shouldn’t be more than 50 cents each. As for the shape? Now you tell me how it looks like a womans……..uh oh…..how.

KZ? I still have no clue what reverse osmosis water is but had a vet tell me it’s good for cats.?? Yuri drinks peppermint tea, does nothing beneficial for him except emotionally. I could never process reverse osmosis, whatever it is. I can only drink water with the impurities still in it. Bottled water is out. So what is reverse osmosis? Is there s simple explanation?
