My recipe is at home, but I did find this website with a recipe for Cinnabon type cinnamon rolls. http://www.gordonfamily.com/Recipes/cinnabon.htm

In a pinch I get the pilsbury rolls and add to them. I take pecans, butter, cinnamon and brown sugar and mix them up and spread on the bottom of a pyrex baking dish, put the cinnamon rolls on top and then cook as directed.

No cinnamon buns in Spain? An outrage!

cricketsmama, I will have to find an old recipe that I had for sticky buns. It came from one of those “meals in 15 minutes” books (I love those, ha ha) and it used the bread that you buy in frozen loaves. You would just thaw the bread overnight, then pull it apart into pieces and put them in a baking dish, then pour on the goodies and bake. It was heavently! I just can’t remember what all the “goodies” were. I know it was cinnamon and a couple different flavors of pudding and maybe condensed milk? Anyway, it all baked into a glorious caramel/cinnamon sticky bun delight. I will find that recipe, it was very easy with a great result.

OMG! The AeroMed helicopter just crashed onto the roof of the hospital downtown (about 1 mile from where I work). We can see all the smoke. No word yet on injuries. Please pray for whomever was onboard.

The GR Press is giving more info.

    http://www.mlive.com/news/index.ssf/2008/05/helicopter_crashes_at_spectrum.html

Looks like they crashed on takeoff. One construction worker nearby says that the tail rotor hit a radio tower as they were leaving and it spun them back into the helipad. It sounds pretty bad. I have friends working at the hospital so I really hope everyone is OK.

Just saw the update. Everyone is OK! There were 2 people on board and both escaped without serious injury. Apparently they were doing a training exercise. (I guess some more training is in order, huh?) So glad no one was seriously injured.

    Monkey Bread

    INGREDIENTS

3 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough

    1 cup white sugar

    2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

    1/2 cup margarine

    1 cup packed brown sugar

    1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

    1/2 cup raisins

    DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 or 10 inch tube pan.

Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Shake 6 to 8 biscuit pieces in the sugar cinnamon mix. Arrange pieces in the bottom of the prepared pan. Continue until all biscuits are coated and placed in pan. If using nuts and raisins, arrange them in and among the biscuit pieces as you go along.

In a small saucepan, melt the margarine with the brown sugar over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over the biscuits.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Do not cut! The bread just pulls apart.

N&NM, yes the landing training especially on rooftops can be tricky enough without radio towers to watch for too. When we have guys on the ground getting landing zone coordinates set up for helo’s its a touch-and-go thing everytime.

Thank god NNM! I guess more training is needed. At least no one was hurt.

WWM, I love you. Thank you for that recipe!!! I have got to make it now!!!
