Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening dear family.

The coffee is on. Hot and strong. I do have juices and tea as well. I set up the buffet and the kitties are fed and happy, ready to come through the wormhole to play and love.

Allergies are messing me up this morning so I am running not at my normal speed 🙂

Good morning CM! I have been cleaning out the fridge — have some friends coming round on Saturday and I don’t want them to get botulism! Can I grab a lovely hot milky coffee please, and some fruit and a little fuzzy kitten! Sorry to hear about your allergies. I guess I have that to look forward to when the spring pollen really gets started…

Good morning, TDK!

I’m so happy this morning! George & I had a lovely night last night (OK, it was only 2 hours, but still), waiting for Mr. K to come home from his fishing trip. There was no biting, no chasing, no scaring, just treats and chin scritches and hanging out doing nothing.

To be safe, I didn’t play with him with the Cat Dancer until hubby got home, but even then he was fine, we only played for a few minutes and he didn’t go all Terminator-kitty at me. And this morning was good, too.

Could I get some scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sausage, with green chile sauce over everything, to celebrate?

I’m good CM, just watching the mayor telling people to leave the city if they are in lower lying areas. I believe they will probably let us go home at about noon today as mandatory evacuations of some areas begin at 2 p.m.

Kilroy, I’m glad you and George had a lovely night. That’s very encouraging news.

Hi, Siobhan, LadyKat, HM and Kilroy! Kilroy, that is good news; I’m so glad George played nicely with his mama; long may it continue. Roughhousing is no fun when the other little roughie has teeth and claws. I had a nice afternoon playing with a little kitten at the SPCA today called Natalya, she was dying to get out of her cage in the Isolation ward and kicked around a wee ball like David Beckham on fast forward. HM, I forgot whether you said you lived on a hill or not, are you likely to be affected by the floods? Please take care!

aww jcat..I am glad you got Natalya out to play. How could you not take her home? I can’t do that. I cry if I go into a pet store.

I had to run to the store last night and when I got home, there was a gray kitten by my garage, and ran when I pulled up the driveway but I was so upset, I didn’t see mommy or anything and it was only maybe a few months old. I worry when it will get colder. I hate to see strays. I get so upset and worry, worry, worry. I used to feed them when I first moved here. But now I just can’t afford it and it tears me up not to be able to shelter and feed the kitties.

CM, if you lived in NZ, that is when you would call the SPCA and I would get to play with her… It is very hard not to take them home but there were three beautiful little tabby kittens in Iso who all miaowed and wanted cuddles (they got them), as well as a shy tortie with the most beautiful colouring and a grey tabby whose colouring was to die for. And that’s without even going in the kitten room or cat room. The good news was that two of my favourite kitties got a lovely home together since the last time I was there and one was a wee shy prickly thing so I am so glad someone fell in love with her. Hopefully, soon, instead of one friendly kitty and one little hissy hedgehog, they will have two little friendly kitties…
