Morning family and friends! Its a cool but very sunny morning here in the Old Pueblo, supposed to only get to the mid 70’s YAY if that really happens! Must have slept wrong, neck is in a crick so got to do something about that. Off to see what I can get into before I loose steam to do anything, lol.

Morning all. Gini, I just hate when you get that vague feeling of dread and don’t know the cause. Do your best to shake it off and go on. I am taking an early lunch with friends today and I think that a big ole BLT is calling my name. The place where we are lunching does awesome BLT’s with loads of bacon. I hope they have a good soup today too.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Can I just whine for a minute? I have to come to work 2 hours early one day next week, to attend a 100% pointless HR seminar on “Playing to Win”. Ugh. Please, just shoot me.

My condolences, Kilroy—don’t you hate it when you feel your time is wasted? We had ‘an important meeting’ after school yesterday so that some big-wig from the ad. bldg. could tell us (actually, read to us) something that they had emailed us earlier in the day. I feel your pain. . .

Boy I can sympathize, Kilroy. They have us going to three four-hour sessions on a Healthy Workplace Environment…learning how to get along with your maddening coworkers.

Probably a couple of faculty got testy with each other, so now we ALL have to go to this training. Just reprimand the naughty faculty and let me do my job, dammit.

Hi everyone. Hugs to all that need it.

Been there Kilroy..I hate when they waste your time like that. Aggravates me to no end.

Went to the dentist this morning…thought I was only getting one tooth fixed..oh no..it was 2 in the front..so I had 2 shots in my upper lip..yeah..that’s fun. Came home..Wayne made a mess trying to fix breakfast for Maddie and Abbie and just left the mess, so I have been trying to catch up since I came home…At least the girls are napping now and I finally have the kitchen straightened up. I think I am going to catch a small nap while I can..these nights with Abbie are kicking my rear!

I remember those days, CM… it was really difficult as I also had a full-time job. (like many many others)

At work thinking of all the things I need to get done at home… the shopping, the cleaning… all kinds of things and wondering why I have spread myself so thin. Thursdays at loooong days. Work, training and hula. Had to finally nix country dancing after hula. Just too much.

Can someone tell my why it is that men just don’t seem to be able to plan things?? At least it my world. We do the same thing every weekend. It’s getting a bit too routine for me. Last night I suggested we do something different on Friday night. He’s ‘thinking about it’… *sigh*

Siobhan, can you send that training over to my company. I know a few people who need some retraining on working with each other. Also we need some ediquette training – how to now annoy your cubicle neighbor with your eating habits and bodily noises. Glad to hear your back is feeling better, Siobhan.

CM, the joys of parenting. Now if Wayne wouldn’t make such a mess. Sorry you had to have two teeth worked on. I hate the dentist as I have an extremely sensitive mouth. They have to give me some sort of numbing before they can give me the shot of novacaine.

Gini, hope you can shake this strange sense you are feeling. Taco and Feeny give your Momma some purrs and headbonks to make her feel better.

I was suppose to go to an interview after work yesterday but I cancelled it because after researching the company, it looked as though the company was way too small for me (only 130 employees total for the whole company with HQ in New York and the SF office not even listed). I know I should have at least gone. My mistake and of course it is off the list of opportunities. Shouldn’t let the opportunites go away in this bad economy. It was an investment company and I have mixed feelings about them. Oh well. Next one comes along I will at least go to the interview.

Kykat, you BLT has me salivating. I love a good BLT sandwich where they pile on the bacon. When I order a BLT, I ask for the bacon to be extra crispy as I like my really cooked. Unfortunately the deli near my office doesn’t make any that have me salivating. Darn!

Well, I didn’t win the $122 million and now it is at $145 million. Step-mom didn’t buy a lotto ticket either on Tuesday. I don’t understand why she will buy tickets for raffles and other things but not a lotto ticket. She always wins at the raffles. All I want is my bills to be paid off and a little extra in the bank. Pipe dreams.

Really tired this morning and am looking forward to the day I can move closer to work and not have to fight the horrible traffic (which seems to be getting worse).

Yeouch, CM, sorry to hear about the needle *shudder*. Also about the mess, but at least you can control that (sort of). Phooey on Wayne for leaving you a mess to clean up. Hope you can grab a nap.

2Popoki, I could never get ex to plan something even when we tried taking turns planning something. I always ended up planning something for his turn because he just couldn’t make up his mind or so he said. It really was that he was too lazy and expected me to take care of everything like his mother did for him. So glad he is gone from my life. What a waste of time and effort!

Hi, Everyone!!!! I’m so late getting started today. Mr. WWM and I went for our bike ride and did 35 miles and had the pleasure of doing half of it into a really strong wind. I’m really beginning to hate that wind.

When we got home we found Windi out on the screened in patio parked in front of the aquarium that is housing our baby turtles. Every once in a while we’d see her little paw come up and tap at the glass. This must have been the first time that she noticed them, as yesterday it was so cool here they stayed buried. Kitty television!

I have to go and get my eyes checked this afternoon. I think that Mr. WWM is tired of me squinting at him.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

SMM – it’s wearing me out ! I even suggested options for things to do tomorrow… basically just go dancing at a different venue. Didn’t even suggest not dancing… LOL I knew that wouldn’t fly… Maybe my expectations are too high…

Good for you WWM and congrats on the bike ride! The visual of Windi with the paw up tapping the aquarium is cute. Cat TV is right. That is what I said when the doves were nesting outside of my bedroom window. They have all been gone about three months now and I have left the nest alone. Another neighbor volunteered to knock it down but I am okay with it. I am concerned with mites though as I think I have seen some sort of very tiny little beetle in my apartment and Mia seems extra itchy lately. Didn’t find any fleas or flea dust so am pretty sure it isn’t that. I may get that diacemtomous (sp?) earth stuff to sprinkle on my carpet and maybe even on Mia. Poor cats.

Slow day in the cafe today. Matches my slow day at work…. ZZZZzzzzz

Good evening. How are you all? I went to the doctor’s yesterday (finally) about my sore wrist. He gave me some anti-inflammatories and when I read the leaflet they come with I nearly flipped. Some of the side-effects are amazing! The “minor” ones can cause mental problems including visual and auditory hallucinating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, it adds, you don’t need to go back to the doctor unless it is causing major problems. So I have warned my work colleagues that if they see me sitting in a corner talking to an imaginary rabbit called Harvey and he’s answering me that it’s no big deal. They looked at me and replied, but you do that anyway. LOL

Holy cow, PM. I think I’d rather hurt.

What kind of imflammatories cause hallucinations! Holy cow is right!! Be careful PM! I don’t think I would want to take the meds. Ibruprofen aka Advil or Aleve is enough for me and I don’t like to take them too often as they make me feel light headed.

ACK!!!! It’s a wonder that I got home! The dr dilated my eyes and it’s bright and sunny out so of course I drove home barely able to see a thing. What fun!

Oh no, WWM! Glad you made it home. I hate it when they dilate my eyes since they always put too much drops in them. They say it usually goes away in 3-4 hours but with me it can be 7-9 hours if they put too many drops in. Somehow light colored eyes are much more sensitive to the drops or maybe it is just me. I have to remind my optometrist when he does my yearly exam. It can ruin a whole day for me as I have to hide in my apt with the blinds closed till it wears off.

I haven’t had my eyes dilated in years! And I have an annual exam… I didn’t know they still did that. Hmmmm….

I had a doc tell me once that dark eyes take longer to dilate. Don’t know about the sensitivity of light eyes.
