I tried the clothes pin idea on Chloe last night. I must not have put them in the right location. I did manage to trim 9 of 10 claws… but she was still fussing around and wanting to get up and leave. One more to go…hopefully tonight. Then I get to try with Mili……

Not a coffee drinker, but this sounds good. Put up in a pretty jar it would make a nice gift.

Cappuccino Mix

INGREDIENTS

* 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer

* 1 cup instant chocolate drink mix

* 3/4 cup instant coffee granules

* 1/2 cup white sugar

* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

* 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

DIRECTIONS

1. In a medium sized glass jar, combine the non-dairy creamer, chocolate drink mix, instant coffee, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well.

2. To prepare, place 2 tablespoons mix in a mug, pour in 3/4 cup boiling water, and stir until dissolved. Serve hot.

Oh, 2Popoki, I love air-dried sheets…there’s nothing like the fresh smell of them on a bed. Unfortunately, I don’t have a place to hang laundry. Thanks for the cappuccino mix, WWM. That’s a great idea for coffee lovers. Does anyone have a chai tea mix recipe?

Good morning or good afternoon. Another busy morning. We have seven new hires that are in the works right now. They are working on sending out offer letters and background checks. I have been working on landing us a new hotel that will offer a corporate rate for their rooms. I managed to get the hotel to go from $209 a night to $179 a night. Not bad, eh?!

Kilroy, I saw your posting. I am praying that the feliway helps with George’s behavior issue. I would also check into talking to your vet about this. Maybe they have a good idea on how to calm him down or they may just prescribe some nice kitty valium for him that you give to George 2-3 times a week. Thinking positive thoughts that it all works out.

CW, I am so excited about the trip out your way! I think we will have fun. By the way, do you have a PS3 (Playstation 3 machine)? If not, no worries. Also, I can email you with my cell phone number so that you have it for Saturday. I believe I have yours but will confirm it in my email to you.

Today on my lunch hour I have to go to AAA to renew my vehicle license. Will set me back $231. I can deduct $157 of it on my 2007 taxes when I file next year.

I didn’t go to bed till midnight last night and really need to go to bed early tonight and tomorrow night so that I am rested up for my trip. Had a nice chat with my Dad last night and was asked if I could host a family get together the weekend of 10/10/08 as my Uncle (Dad’s brother) is coming into town to visit with his aunt (my great Aunt) who is in the rehab center until 10/15. I said no problem and would be happy to host.

It has been humid here lately and we are supposedly suppose to get rain tomorrow evening and into Saturday. They said 1/2 an inch with up to 2 inches in the hill areas. Our rainy season doesn’t usually start till the third week of the month. We really need some rain so I am not complaining. Hopefully will not delay my flight departure on Saturday.

Slow afternoon in the cafe! I could use an iced coffee or something caffeinated that would pretend to be dessert. I am dragging!

Wow! The Blue Angels are in town for a show this weekend and are practicing now…they fly really close to our office…it’s so amazing!

Nope, but the view from our office is so good, I just sit here and watch. I’ve been before tho…
