I’m enjoying a cup of coffee and am heading out for my tennis match in about half an hour.
I need the coffee – didn’t sleep well last night as the job is driving me crazy.Tuesday when I got in they had moved my boss to fulfillment and put someone else who used to work at the office in charge of the front desk. XBF called and warned me and told me they put this woman (who’s probably my favorite person there) at the front desk hoping she would quit. I pretended I didn’t know when I got in. This poor woman has worked at the front desk before, but she doesn’t know everything and my ld boss (who I thought I liked) is no help whatsoever, even when I ask. I’m sure they want us to fail and then they’ll put my old boss back at the front desk.
yesterday I got a call at 11:30 from both XBF and the new front desk manager that we were having a mandatory meeting at one. I didn’t get the message til 1:30 and didn’t go. My new boss told me it was a good thing because management is up in arms because we’re gossiping at the front desk! They are now going to install video cameras to keep an eye on us!!!!
My new boss told me yesterday she thinks they’re going to fire us front desk people and I think she may be right. Drama Queen just called ans asked me to come in early. I told her I had tennis and wasn’t sure and if the other girl (not the new boss) could stay til I come in – she told me the other girl got fired!
