I’m not a black cat hoomin per se – but am definitely a black cat aficionado! Purrhaps just for this day I can be an honourary black cat hoomin! πŸ™‚

Good morning all. I’m just nipping in briefly before breakfast. I saw my neighbour as l put the rubbish out and she needs TDK White Light. She was taking her cat Ville to the vet for an operation on his eye. His only eye. I posted a Furry Friday recently that Ville was pictured in. Please think positively for Ville today.
    Thanks,back later in the day.

Caddy is in her element today, being celebrated and all (just like all other days in this house) …

Oh, white lights for Ville …. poor guy, only one eye!

Son has been good about keeping in touch thru Viber (love that app) …. he called yesterday and wanted my recipe for Jambalaya – he was cooking GF dinner …. seems like things are going well ….he gets back Sunday, so I’m sure I’ll hear all about it ….

Had fun yesterday at the beach with Mr. AV and even though it was a cloudy day, I managed to get sunburnt πŸ™ …. have a great day all!

I’m sure there are plenty of mini panthers who will adopt you for the day, KJ!

Many black cats in my life – current, past and probably future. Leela’s leg rubs are the best, Comet’s daybreak concerts are musical wake up calls, and Huey hugs always make me smile!

My first black cat was Jinx/Jinxie. She was the family cat and lived into her early 20’s. Then there was Aja, Taz and Smokie. Rounding off the current crew is Dewey and Star. I love my panthers!

Sheree is a gorgeous girl and she has wonderful brother with Cedar.

I believe that Lagatta doesn’t want to post a picture of Livia because she’s so adorable someone might steal her in the night. 😯

What’s that pic PG? Just a Q mark shows up.

You could be right about Miss Livia. Considering that I do live in the same city as Lagatta. But I have not as yet resorted to becoming a cat burglar! πŸ˜‰

We had one black cat in our time, she was litter mate to Whitefoots our first cats as a married couple but sadly she caught cat flu and didn’t make it. Her name was Wild.
AV, it’s great that son is keeping you up to date on his trip and I bet you can barely wait until Sunday.
Leeny, please tell Sheree that she is one gorgeous girl.
LOL really Lagatta? Are we not going to see Miss Livia?
PG, I don’t even get a Q, inquiring minds are inquiring.
    πŸ˜• 😯
What a odd day as far as the weather goes. Overcast but very warm, actually uncomfortably warm when you go into stores that are now overheated. Then we get rain and then sun showers and black clouds arrive and we get rain and sun. Crazy and you don’t know what to wear.

Oh my Elaine, you have three beautiful black cat. Wow Archie is a big fluffy boy.
Ville update, he is home and chowing down hungrily. Operation was not 100% but his eye looks better than is had been. I don’t know what the problem was but there was the possibility he may lose the sight in it if the operation was not done. He lot his other eye from medication required when his Mama rescued him. He had a serious ringworm infection and the ringworm meds caused the loss of sight in one eye and damaged the other and meant his teefs never grew properly. He doesn’t know any different and just gets on with life with his best friend and sibling a wee dog.

In June 2014, little Noodle came in Niamh’s life. He never looked back.

3 years later – Mr. Noodle Kaboodle’s last vet check he weighed in at a whopping 5.45kg (12 lbs). Now Noodle is a very large cat not necessarily “obese” but a 3-legged cat should always be on the “slim” side to reduce the risk of joint issues later in life.

Niamh is sick because she’s running herself ragged…again. I’m posting Mr. Noodle Kabooble bio.

I love the slippers KJ. So that’s why my gang have such sharp claws, MS. πŸ˜†

Hopefully, your Son and GF will work out their future together. Naturally, Miss Caddy expects and deserves extra attention today.

Oh Eliane, Mr. Archie is a fluffy, fluffy guy kit. Mr. Archie definitely likes his scratchy pole! πŸ˜‰ I love how the brothers hang out and reconnoiter the universe.

It’s wonderful that Ville came out of surgery, if not 100&, at 85%. If, by chance, he loses his eye he’s still a trooper.

    Cya and have a happy~

A number of beautiful black cats have passed through my life and I’m afraid the meadow would need to be very large to accommodate them all. Archie was a slightly fluffy shelter kitten who grew to be a gorgeous 8 kg fuzzball, but alas his kidneys collapsed when he was only 6 yo. Flicker was a terrified skin-and-bone wreck who turned into the most beautiful, trusting, affectionate satin-sleek panther. I was feeding him for 5 months before he would let me touch him. He made it to senior cathood. After I’d been leaving food out for a while I realised I was actually feeding 2 cats, which is how I adopted Harry.

So many beautiful black cats–why would anyone be afraid of them? I have my sleek beauty Bowtie, who has the sweetest purrsonality. She doesn’t like to be held, but lays on the arm of the chair or (HER FAVORITE) laying on the kitchen table in front of you and she gets her chin and ears scratched while she scopes out any food that she thinks might be up there. Of course I don’t let the cats up on the table while we are eating, but she thinks there is always something interesting to do up there–why else would we spend so much time sitting around that big oval thing in the kitchen? πŸ˜›
