This Special Day brings the chance to get things in order and under control. As for trying to control kits – just give up at the outset!

I love all the pics esp. the cat who controls my world. It’s challenging answering to 3 bosses! 😉

I watched the 2nd Jack Reacher movie – meh. Not much else so cya and have a happy~

Haha, growing up we could never leave the turkey on the counter on Thanksgiving Day, as soon as dad carved it, it went back into the oven till after dinner.
It’s a partly sunny day here in Jersey, but alas, still quite chilly. Around 5 this morning Comet found something plastic to chew on, then found something else a few minutes later. He finally settled down but has been kind of needy. I guess we know who is in control here!

Good Thursday morning here!! Hey, I can’t leave turkey out at all, my cats LOVE turkey and it has to be guarded fiercely or someone is up on the counter and noming down!! But, truth be told, the turkey carcass is my favorite too….I’d rather pick bits and pieces off and eat those… 😛

It’s a typical spring morning here, a little chilly, but starting to be very green, with a chance of showers on an off all day. The birds are so noisy calling for mates, and lots of new ones showing up at the feeders daily. Still too early for hummie feeders here though!

Just the thought of a turkey carcass makes me want to make soup! It is still soup weather here; a nice sunny day but below seasonal norms. Still, I have errands to run for work and household stuff, and am meeting a friend, just back after a couple of months in Cuba, for coffee and chat. At least the roads and cycle lanes are dry, so I’m riding my bicycle to the café near her place.

Friend is retired of course, and has a share in a little house down there, so it costs nothing more than staying here (she rented her condo for the period) except for the flight, which is not very expensive. I’ll have to have her over for supper soon, so she can once again admire Livia…

Control? Hah! Even on my Caturday of rest I must get up early to feed Dorry – ere I risk the consequences! 😮

Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings Lagatta, but weather-wise supposedly March will be going out like a lion! 🙁

“Since March was set to go out like a lion anyway (it came in like a wet lamb, you’ll remember), a special weather statement issued by Environment Canada warns that southern Quebec could see up to 10 centimetres of snow starting Friday.”

Home for a bit, waiting for landlord to call re fact that my bathtub only gives out a very thin stream of the hot water, so it takes like 45 mins to get a decent full tub. Not a deal breaker and right now would not be ideal for fix-it stuff, but I find that its always best to let landlord know of any probs when they are just starting up.

Well, JK, I’d rather think of it as Friday Eve!!

Lagatta…your day sounds lovely — nothing better than chatting with an old friend over coffee in a cafe! I would love to ride my bike around to do my errands, but seriously everything is miles to where you want to go..not just a jaunt to town. When I was a young girl I rode my bike everywhere, now I live in the country where riding your bike on the state routes is not very safe with traffic at such high speeds. There is a wonderful bike path near me that goes all the way to the Ohio River!!
