Simply go for a walk. Unless you are wearing a dress, skirt or shorts, you’re probably wearing pants, (or something hehehe.) So, by definition, as you walk, they come along.

Well, obviously I wear pants (usually lycra shorts) under my skirt. But I confess that this may be the most obscure “day” yet. Is it a roundabout way to get people walking, or the not always pleasant thought that we are all naked under our clothes? Livia has sleek black fur (think of Diana Rigg in the Avengers) with no demarcation between top and trousers.

That’s a lot to ask of stretch pants! 😮

It’s Thursday and here’s my take on today’s theme:

We’ve had rain all day. This is the first day with temps. were below 90f/21c and it’s so nice. We’re suppose to have cooler temps. and rain for the next couple of days. Yea – 😛

    Cya and have a happy~

    Replies from yesterday.
AV, how about making some gaspachocado soup, remember when PippasMum called it that.
JJ, I can attest to the soup I made yesterday being darned tasty. Mr MS had a thermos of it and wants another one tomorrow which is a good idea as we have yet another cold snap racing up the country overnight with snow for many areas. Icy temps here tomorrow.
Goodness m KJ, they are very very particular about a little wrinkling of the page corners at your library aren’t they. Nice reduction of the fine.
KZ, was the mower a ride on or not.
AV, I just can’t imagine a city of that size, that’s 1.5 million less than my entire countries population. My city would be like a country town to you I am sure. Great to hear JUI is getting into the work so enthusiastically.
Well HRH came upstairs for the first time in almost two months and spent the night snuggling up with her daddy or trampling over him. LOL, I was so pleased she has a major crush on him at the moment. She is eating so well and putting on weight. KK’s cat Dara isn’t well, she had very clogged up sinus’s(like HRH did)and it was pressuring her optic nerve and her eyes swelled shut so she couldn’t see. She had a steroid shot and time in a Vicks vapouriser tent to help clear the passages. She is staying at the vets for now.

Lagatta, that “Special Days” calendar has no basis in reality, ‘cept for known holidays, there is no “rhyme no reason” for any of the days! 😉

PG, love the “steelin’ girlfriend” wee orangie! And “Pooh” with the F-word!

MS, hoping that KK’s Dara makes a quick recovery.

Guess if I found myself owned by a Sphynx I’d be knitting the kit an entire wardrobe of smart sweaters!

I hope I’m not being breedist, but cripes I think sphinx cats look weird. And look as if they’d be frileux, that is always feeling the cold. They might be very affectionate though.

-40 is where the C and F scales meet. Of course cats from cold climates like Norwegian forest cats, Maine coons, Siberians etc tolerate cold better, but -40 is cold for anyone and homeless cats and humans die in those weathers.

It is cool and grey today, some light rain earlier in the morning. We have a little “gift” from the mayor of Mtl, as the electric car races have caused so much disruption for people living and working in some parts of the city centre that we are (all) getting free public transport – buses, the métro and bixi bikeshare bikes – on Saturday and Sunday. Now, many commuters already have monthly passes, but I don’t as I work mostly at home. I’ll certainly avail myself of it, but nowhere near the F-e races.

It’s raining here this morning, more expected later too.

Yes, my mower is a riding mower…you think I’d push mow that much grass!!?? 😛 😮 😆 I had my ear buds in and was enjoying the mowing because I seriously love to mow grass. I can solve the world’s problems (and everyone else’s too 🙄 ) on the seat of my mower.

More sweet corn on the menu for lunch today as Avery requested it. Her papa makes her wishes come true so…corn it is! Can’t wait to try the lime, I’ve got to get to the grocery to get some.

JK, dish-washing kit – fur real?? Sure using lots o’ detergent! I’d be nervous about him slipping off counter.

As in today at gym – maintenance had washed the staircase leading up to spin cycle studio. Would have been logical to put one of those “Danger/Slippery surface” cones. But no! Took KJ to tell reception staff that some of us nearly wiped out! Bike shoes have metal cleats and with slippery surface – 😮 ! Situation was fixed.

All kits are kewel, but I’m partial to one that has a decent amount of fur, ie a short hair, IMHO eminently prefurrable for petting/stroking, eliciting soothing purrs. That said, I, too am frileux!

Afternoon everyone! …. Great pics, and beautiful flowers, JK!

I had my teeth cleaned this morning – what a wonderful feeling that is! This afternoon I go back to babysit the home inspector, hopefully the power is/will stay on … It’s always a challenge in my neighborhood because we live in the oldest/historic area, so our infrastructure is 125+ years old …
… gotta run now, L8R all, have a great rest of your day!

JK good that you didn’t very srsly injure yourself in fall and that as you put it you’re almost back to “normal”.

AV, I had teef cleaned last wk, it is a wonderful feeling!

Well I’ve knit the same cable sweater in diff yarns like 30 times! The other nite when I was knitting collar I sensed that something was awry but paid no heed. Seems that somehow I forgot diff between right and wrong side. 🙄 Was considering leaving it as a “style choice”. After consideration/advice, confirmed that it was not a good look and that I’d never be happy wearing it. Had to rip back a goodly amount, order more yarn and result will be a better job all told. But took like 3 hrs to get to where I can renew my efforts and I was already working on the sleeves, meaning nearly finished. Oh for this to be my biggest prob. 😉

Afternoon all. Cool but sunny day here.
What a great collection of pics about cats and pants. 😆 😆 😆
    KZ –
Oh my the dishwashing cat is wonderful to watch. His/her hoomins must be the most patient of people to film while he floods the floor but she/he was having so much fun in the water.
Oh KJ, that was lucky you didn’t slip. I was at the gym this morning and I swear those stairs are getting steeper even before glass. I had to laugh, when I arrived there was a person wearing a blue bird costume standing in the car park. No idea why but I quipped that they looked a bit cold seeing as they were blue. I heard plenty of people wondering what it was all about so on the way out I asked if he was the bluebird of happiness as he had made a lot of people smile as they walked past.
JK, love the white petunias and blue violas.
I am fascinated by the pink flower in the second pic or rather pink leaves. Looks like a coleus. The little bllue flower on the right side is a streptocarpus and there is green with white border leaf of hostas, a wee fuschia and I think the background shrub is an abutilon. Ouch your poor knee, I hope 100% normal happens soon.
Oh Simon’s Cat and the vacuum cleaner is hilarious. Love the window washing too.
AV, such a nice feeling when teefs are freshly polished.
Time I got more firewood in as the temps are set to plummet overnight.

A purrson dressed as a bluebird MS? Purrhaps said purrson was the bluebird of happiness. I’m sorta getting to where things surprise me less and less. 😉

More of a blue bird than a bluebird if that makes sense. It was an excellent costume with multi layers of padded fabric making up the layers of feathers and of varying hues of blue. We don’t have bluebirds here so that’s why I had the wee joke about being cold.
I agree things surprise me less and less too, I just enjoyed the weirdness of it all.
Firewood all in, thank goodness the gym is strengthening my legs and I can carry a load of wood in the large canvas ‘apron’ I made for the purpose.

    Quoting Moonshadow’s delightful tpyo:

“I was at the gym this morning and I swear those stairs are getting steeper even before glass“. Glass of what?

I’m enjoying an iced coffee, but you can’t see through mine as it is espresso. I have Duralex glasses, which aren’t really unbreakable, but very sturdy. They are the French bistro glasses, in tempered glass, which breaks into small square pieces if it does break (which is very rare but can happen if it falls on a very hard surface like a tile or concrete floor).
