    Hey KJ 🙂

Well I always want to celebrate my kitties so it’s cuddle your kitty day for me 🙂

I’m getting serious withdrawals lately haven’t been able to check in nearly as much as I want too… It seems like I haven’t had any time to myself lately probably why I’m getting the migraines back ..

Well I hope everyone is have a good week and the the weather is brightening up too 🙂

    Hi MS,
Furminated – I like that and without asking purrmission I’m going to borrow it! And then watch peep’s reactions when I tell them that I’m off to get furminated! 🙂
What day for me – precision escapes me point in time. I suggest that efurryone make it a mini-me day, ie taking an hour off to just chill, buy some small thing that one has a hankering for … right, that second part seems to be almost weekly thing for me. 😉
Rainy here, but I like it as log as there’s no “freezing” as go with. New spin instructor today, at her trial class she was awesome, very warm and bouncing with NRG, so bodes well. L8R!

I like it too KJ, so go get yourself furminated! I did and am the better for it as if my hair looks bad, it makes me feel bad. Ain’t nobody happy when I feel bad…Saw a saying on FB the other day that said: “when mamma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy: and when grandma ain’t happy–RUN!” LOL, pretty much sums it up for me!
Raining here today but it’s ok, so relaxing. Avery has a cold or allergies–it’s hard to tell which, but she’s a happy little soul even though her nose it itchy and runny, but she’s so darned cute when she rubs her eyes (ok, I’m smitten) and she really doesn’t feel bad, no fever.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning all! …. work has been steadily busy this week, it’s a good thing, but sometimes I need to catch my breath! …. like Buttons, I don’t get to check in often enough, and need to catch up! … hope everyone is doing well! ….. LOL @ the furminations! I need one myself!

… well, we replaced the monitor last night, and yes I got dinner out of it too 😉

… now with three large new monitors, I feel like I work in central command! LOL

… back to a busy day, later all!

Too often, I don’t make time for myself so I’m celebrating Spa Day. Purrhaps this is way to get un-furminated, KJ? Join me and let your stress go!

    Morning (still) JK, afternoon Buttons!
PG your pics have me ROTFL! Prefurr cuddly to bubbly anytime! Kitty masseur (mass-purr?) looks a lot like Dorry! Will join you in virtual Spa in room down the hall at Café. In real world I’m actually too tense for massage to have any benefit as I cannot relax even stretched out on the table (just like kit in same pic, only different stressors.) So I do what as Epsom salts bath, then battery-operated foot smoothing thingy, then that soak, although found that I didn’t like Listerine scent so did up a soak of vinegar/Epsom salts/baking soda/warm water, gets real fizzy and good results. Then some time on my shiatsu foot massager. It’s a plan.
KZ, I hear you re hair = how one’s day goes. To quote the rap/gangsta song “I’m having a bad day, don’t make me take it out on you.” hehehe.
    😉
Avery sounds like a real trooper. As opposed to (don’t get me started) atypical guy with minor ailment. One day when I was still with ex-Mr. KJ I came home to find fridge stocked with yogurt. He’d had root canal and felt the need to be “babied” for the duration. Not by me! I had root canal and went back to work (until with some dental stuff was ordered not to.) Sheesh!
It’s grey outside but warmed up enough so that one can wear boots just for fashion and go without a hat – works for me! Supposed to get colder again but nowhere near what Winter brought us,

Put Avery in her walker, this time with wheels on and wow, watch her go!! She is so mobile now, she literally RAN across the kitchen on her tippy toes and laughing the whole way! My house is pretty much baby proofed–as did it many years ago with my own, then first grandkids, and have just kept cords/drawers/cupboards kid proofed just because it’s better that way. She truly thinks she is a big girl now, only at 7 months and will be walking before she has a right too, LOL. Spring is coming at just the right time as I will have her in the yard digging in the dirt like any kid should!
Yesterday, looked out my front window into the cornfield and there had to be 100 robins land and eating worms. They were flipping fodder, running, looking at the ground with one eye, what a wonderful sight to see! Spring has sprung!

JK, isn’t efurryday Coffee Day? But with a little kick added, why not!
No choice as to what to feed Dorry as Passover, lucky (for moi) he enjoys the change.

I like the kitty massage troubles…damn red dot….heh.
Bet Avery is cute with her wheels, KZ. How fun to see the robins! They sure didn’t stay long around here…guess they were just passing thru on their way to you. I guess they are more of a northern bird? We had them in KS and Lubbock. But I’m guesing they aren’t year round in FL. (Grew up here, but don’t remember.) We’ve been having such fun watching our birds…goldfinches being our newbie visitors.

    Good afternoon all! *Waving!!!!
Rained a bit here and stopped. Went out put my mail in the box and noticed all these tiny, long black larvae things ALL over the bottom of my house. Millions of them!!! I have never seen them and wonder what they could be. Will call the local environmental center to ask. They made me think of fleas, but doubt they are. WEIRD!
LOVE all the kitties as always. Awww….
I am such a DIP sometimes… LOL poor birds. I have not put seed out in days. Quite a few neighbors feed them too, so I wasn’t concerned. The thistle feeder was half full at least. My sister gave me thistle in an old milk jug. Well, I had also used a clear water jug to fill with sunflower seeds to make it easier to fill the tube feeder in bad weather. Well, you can imagine what I did… DUH!!! I put “more thistle” in the jug before going outside. As I was pouring the seeds out into the feeder, I noticed I had put thistle in the sunflower seed jug…. *sigh… The poor birds will be all mixed up. I just poured it all in the tube feeder which always has sunflower seeds. The seeds are mostly thistle with some sunflower seeds mixed in. I do have another feeder that I put all sunflower seeds in though. So, they have both. Is this old age sneaking in? I just don’t pay close enough attention sometimes…..
Awww please give hugs to that darling little Avery… hope she feels better soon. My nose has been running a lot lately too. I am excited for spring, but then will have to stay inside most of the time cause the pollen will kill me! 🙁 How fun you got to see SO many robins in the cornfield!!! I saw that flock the one day and now just see a few here and there. They always nest here each year. 🙂 I just LOVE the birds…. How cute that Avery is enjoying her walker. Awww…. 7 months already? Hard to believe…..
Hope you all have a lovely day!

ECB, I’m not sure but know that some robins go south, probably some to Florida to winter. Some stay here year round because I’ve seen them especially in really dense woods like pine and near creeks that flow all the time. They are very hardy birds but I don’t actually see them in the yards until spring. There are bunches of them here now, they are so comical. I raised a nest of 5 babies once when I was a child in gradeschool, with my parents’ help. The nest has blown out of the tree. They grew to be big birds and we taught them to find worms and fly. They always hold a special place in my heart after that. They would sit on my fingers or shoulder as I walked around the yard.
My goldfinches are changing color to the bright yellow–they aren’t there yet–but the cardinals have been singing like crazy entertaining the ladies in the early morning just before daylight. The air is ‘alive’ with the sound of bird song==what an empty world it would be without them. The more I feed them, the closer they nest to the house, it has brought in a pair of blue jays too, which I’ve never had before. They are loud and noisy birds, but beautiful just the same.
I hear Avery rustling around in her crib, she’s probably getting ready to wake up. She sure has a snorfuly nose, poor little thing. Doesn’t seem to bother her too much though.

Well, Dorry has become my Early Warning System. Housefly doesn’t meant that they have any right to be in my house. Dorry stares at something, occasionally meowing I look up and lo and behold it’s a fly. Well I quickly dispatched it and when it fell to window sill Dorry quickly dispatched it as extra protein LOL. He’s allowed flies during Passover. I know, he has nothing compared to mighty huntress as HRH, but for a kit who has no experience of hunting in the great outdoors, not bad! 😉

Okay…. called the environmental center and the guy knew right away what they are! Springtails or rather Snow Fleas. They won’t hurt anything, don’t usually come inside, and will disappear eventually. They live in the ground under leaf litter, etc. and come out when it warms up. They are FOOD for a lot of things right now. Interesting… I am going to Google them.

Cool, BB. Neat to learn something new…even about creepy crawlies.

KJ, my kits cherish the occasional bug hunt as that’s all the real hunting they get.

KZ, you were like Cinderella with birds landing on you. So neat that you got to be a mama bird.

Hmm, think I’ll sneak out to patio for a few w/Tux…sssh, don’t tell…leavin’ big ol’ pile of billy buds on my desk! 😉
