Supposedly it’s a day to show your significant other that you care and appreciate all of the things that he/she does for you. No “significant other”? No worries. Just celebrate being “one in yourself.”

Sad to hear of Mary Tyler Moore’s passing. I always wanted to toss a hat up in the air in a city but never have. I watched many programmes with her in it s I grew up.
Thanks to all who sent White Light as requested, situation will be up in the air for some time but could be an absolute positive in the future. 🙂
We had a Summery day today, they are not guaranteed lately sadly.

Ah, Mavis! A new Facebook status!

Folks used to ask me why/when I’m getting married; apparently they didn’t like my response because the quit asking the question. Baahaha

I love my wife

It’s been chilly here. It won’t get up freezing (32f/0c) until Saturday.

I watched NOVA in which they raised the Costa Concordia. That’s the cruise ship that sank near Isola del Giglio. It’s amazing how every action was tied to another and if one failed the whole ship could have gone under and create a massive eco- disaster. Now, I’m watching the series Patriots Rising: The American Revolution.

Well, I’m off to bed. Cya and have a happy~

Morning effurryone! ….. I always celebrate Mr. AV, he’s a keeper …. good guy with a kind heart, and a fellow animal (kitty especially) lover 🙂

Rainy today, but should cool things down, and then be sunny/cool for the invasion …. the City has already started blocking off the Bayshore and putting up barricades …. they are delivering ‘no parking’ sandwich boards along our street, it will be foot traffic only ….. Thankfully, we have offstreet parking (a private carport) behind our house.

Time for me to start a busy day, have a great one all!

Hi everyone – I guess we are all in a relationship with our cat(s)! My hubby is a keeper. Makes me nuts sometimes but I make him nuts too, and the good outweighs the not so good. I think asking someone if/when they are getting married is highly personal. Ditto for asking about children. I still sometimes get the kids question, though now it’s in the form of “why didn’t you.”
Poor Mavis, it’s Walter’s loss.
Keeping up the white light for you, MS. 37 years is awesome! I’ve known hubby 34 years, where does the time go?
Hi JK – got a bit of vitamin D here too, after some passing showers this morning.
The sun is out now here in Jersey, and it’s gotten super windy.

No Vit D in my n’hood – ‘cept the kind that comes in pill form LOL. But relatively mild out so no complaints. And mucky, so my boots just got a thorough de-salting/cleaning/spraying.

How can I let this day go by without this earworm:

We play a new version in spin class – full volume and totally awesome – and some of us sing along!

After running around most of day just finished super-rush job of proofing PDF of mag that I translated as paying proj. So next wk I can send my invoice! 🙂

I’ve spent the last few days editing and proofreading a research document, and wound up retranslating much of it, as the translations didn’t always make sense. Hard to invoice that kind of work.

Livia has spent the last few days bopping in and out the back balcony door, as it has been very mild and she does want to mark her territory in the garden. But she doesn’t stay out for long. I only let her out when I’m there and can pay close attention to her. My new downstairs neighbour also has a small black cat!

No spouse these days. While I wouldn’t mind a human companion if he is kind, considerate and cultivated, I’m not actively looking for one now.
