Turkey breast in the oven, dishes washed, and gifts opened. Sister gave me a beautiful thistle feeder with seed so I washed it good with HOT water a few times. I’m still seeing finches out on my sunflower feeder, so they are still around. They will be thrilled with the new feeder I’m sure. 🙂
Buttons… I also love to be alone with my babies and wish I had a woodstove too. Grew up with them and LOVE having them. When others ask what I will be doing on a holiday, and I tell them I’ll be home, they have a fit and try to invite me to THEIR house. They just don’t understand… I feel more comfortable being home. I relax, stay in my jammies, and just take my time doing what I like. It’s PURRfect. Besides, why should the kitties be without me. They LOVE having me home. 🙂
The wind is really whipping out there! MY!!!
Got to Skype with my dau and grandbaby, sister called, and I will be talking to my special little friend, Amanda, later on tonight. She sent me lovely gifts! My favorite cookies from Knotts Berry Farm, a velvety soft throw, pretty Christmas candle, white chocolate snowflake, Calgon hand soap with hand lotion and Aloe infused red/white striped fuzzy socks. Plus, a sweet card. 🙂
Sister also gave me Curel hand cream, a cat hair remover brush for my clothes, and is treating me to a new skylight cause mine leaks. Oh, and a pack of GREENIES treats for the kitties. She spoils me rotten! Nephew and wife gave me a CD of their church’s choir and a DVD called BLIZZARD. It was made in 2003 and I think I’ve seen it before. It’s about a little girl that takes ice skating lessons, has to move and learns the meaning of friendship from one of Santa’s reindeers, Blizzard. Sounds cute!!
