Everyone has the odd argument, fight, or tiff. Today is “designated” to ending the strife. Or just check out cute pics of kissy and kissable kitties!

“not nootrishus” and blowing kisses are so precious. I give my kits kisses everyday because they want them! 😆

It’s been so wondrous here with cooler temps. and steady rain all day. I’m going to the Dentist Thursday A.M. for the permanent crown.

    and remember –

Good morning! Great job with the pics today, KJ, MS and PG. So much sweetness! And the bird telling the kits to kiss his butt…lol.

MS…fantastic news about your ultrasound being clear! Hope you are feeling better too.

Thursday and Friday should be a little slower paced for us. But younger son does need s haircut today and has a meeting with a violin teacher.

Last night at dinner older son said he’s really enjoying the classroom experience….yay! I knew he would. He’s a quiet kid who loves to sit and read for long periods of time and everyone else in his family is an introvert. So you’d think he would be too, right? His dad and I have long suspected he’s got a little extrovert in him. He seems to draw energy from being around people.

    Morning all! Love the pics!
Yay! MS, great news, always good to get clear test results! Continued healing prayers!
Glad Son is enjoying the classroom …. he will enjoy the social and making friends aspects, I’m sure!
Looking like starting late Sunday, through Wed. the tropical storm will be upon us …. don’t know yet if it will be a hurricane, but we’re ready for the deluge of rain that is a guarantee ….. all paws crossed the power stays on ….
Can’t believe it’s already Thursday, the weeks seem to by flying bye! Have a great day everyone! L8R!!

So glad to hear of the good ultrasound report MS! Hope you are feeling much better too, and without the worry on top of it.
It rained overnight here, our drought is finally over. It may be too late for some crops, but it all helps in the long run. So humid here, it’s like air you can wear!
Staying in and staying cool if at all possible!
Loving the pics guys! You all do such a wonderful job of keeping us entertained! 😛

Congrats on the clean ultrasound MS. That’s such a relief. I’m glad Dau had stitches out and is getting around.

    Love the crossover pic, MS.

Awesome pics! My kits get kisses every day too. PG, I bet you’ll be glad to have your ‘crowning’ behind you today. Nice that temps have cooled by you.
Happy news on the ultrasound, MS. Sending feel good vibes to you!
Wow ECB, that’s great news that son likes the classroom experience. He seems like the type who rolls with things – must be that bit of extrovert in him!
Well I sure hope that storm doesn’t develop into a land-hitting hurricane. Maybe it will stay out at sea.
Sure am glad you got serious rain, KZ. I’ve been surprised about some of the crops this year. The corn has great texture, but it’s not quite as sweet as I expect. Jersey tomatoes are delicious as ever though, however, cherry tomatoes aren’t as plentiful as usual. Same with zucchini – it’s delicious, but not overflowing.
It’s a lovely day in Jersey, though the humidity is building.
A bit of news from my sister, Jersey Jill. She wasn’t going to actively foster unless a needy kitten came along, and along came Polly, a wee grey kitten. She got Polly on Saturday. On Tuesday JJ said feeding Polly is a struggle, with both of them wearing the food! However, Polly had an enlarged heart and a murmur, and went to the bridge yesterday.

So many gr8 pics! Loving the kiss my a$$ bird and it might not go so well for kitty Barbra! 😯
Dorry doesn’t seem to like kisses, although on occasion he tolerates a light kiss on his forehead. *Sigh* A guy thing, purrhaps?
Similar weather here KZ – like a free sauna – how fun! But it looks like we might get a downpour – of course that’s ONLY if I forget umbrella.
So what with crowning being completed, you’re officially a princess/queen, PG? Hmmm … 😉
Still have spin class hangover from last night, still worked hard this am, guess with me it’s a given. 🙄
Looking forward to place getting back in place as N. and I cleared path for washer del this wknd. Plus plan to do some re-arranging. Was going to do load at laundromat, then figured might as well save it as first up for new washer, I mean, it’s not really dirty stuff.
    Appt in pm. l8r.

So sad about Polly. 🙁 Condolences to Jill. How fosters do it time and again I don’t know, except to be amazed and thankful. Wee Polly knew your sis’ love and a full tummy in her short time here.

RIP, little Polly. So sorry for you sister, Joan.

We found our violin teacher….yay! This was our last of three recommendations and the third one was “just right”…lol. First required too much crazy running around town performing stuff, and there were other things that made it a poor fit. Second had a full schedule. Younger son does well with quiet, gentle personalities and this lady fit the bill. Her home is peaceful and her dog and cat like to observe lessons. :). Her prices are reasonable and she even has a great locally made antique violin (that fits son) we can use for $10 per month. People usually rent at the beginning. And she listened when I said son was interested in learning to fiddle and showed him an Irish fiddle book they can work on after he works through the beginning book….nice!

My sympathies to Jersey Jill. I admire her for being a foster mom-she’s awesome. Sweet Polly was ready to cross the bridge.

This was easy and I didn’t want to be anesthetized. They popped the temp. out and popped the permanent in. My crowning is done and it’s a gold one! Na Na Na

I’m glad you found a Violin teacher. It’s important they mesh or your son won’t want to play. Alia rented for the first 2 years. They didn’t want to spend the money on one if she wasn’t serious about it.
Alia has to learn Etudes and Concertos. As long as she does well on her regular lessons then, for fun, she gets to practice Renaissance music.

Just got in from a real stinker of a humid day. Pouring before and thank goodness I did have my mega-umbrella.
So was doing some rsch “just in case” there is mould issue. And found what sounds like reputable co. They assess and can then recommend removal co. if need be. Which previous rsch tells me is best way to go, as co. that assesses/removes is in effect in conflict of interest.
But here’s something just a bit amewsing. Or my timeless rant as to why cos. should have copywriter do their websites (me being a copywriter.) One place actually has huge headline: “Experiencing An Unfortunate Water Damage?” Thought that it might be bad tr from Fr. orig. but same text in French. Now just what sort of water damage would be “fortunate”? 😕

Joan, I’m so sorry that little Polly went to the bridge so soon. 😥
Little kittens have such a hard start sometimes and they try but sometimes they just can’t make it.

KJ, I see so many dreadfully written things that look translated – in French and English alike, and any other languages they are in. Not only as you say, but “damage” is non-count (or mass) so an unfortunate damage is odd syntax.

I actually enjoyed the light misty rain east of Mont-Royal; I was on my bicycle doing errands (buying a litre of white wine vinegar for $2 at Intermarché for one thing, as I’m doing lightly-pickled red cabbage) and we had this fine misty rain; I passed by a guy emerging from a gym and said how lovely it was and he agreed, it was like a second shower. But summer weather systems can change from one block to the next, not like the equally shared misery of winter.

Livia had sheltered in the garden and when I called her her fur was a bit damp – not soaking wet – and I rubbed her down gently with a towe, and she purred. I really love her, though of course I still miss Renzo.

Livia is named for a defunct Italian friend who was born in the early 1920s and was in the anti-fascist resistance in Venice during the War. But it is also an homage to the wonderful Venetian cats..

I’m confused KJ. I thought you and friend decided it was dirt and not mold. Did I miss something?

Sweet Italian Livia has her hiding spot. It can be pouring rain and Miss Gaea will come in without a drop on her…other times she’s soaking wet. Go figure. When are you going have Miss Livia as our Daily Kitten?

lagatta, Miss Livia sounds lovely, named to honour a friend, and also a very noble Roman name, gleaned from watching “I, Claudius” purrhaps 3 times! Interestingly, read somewhere that noble Roman women did not have individual names, their names were derived from family. Like all the girls in Julian family were named Julia, with miniscule changes like nicknames so one could tell them apart. That’s just how much women counted. *sigh* Which segues neatly to tomorrow’s theme!
PG, I do sound confusing. And you didn’t miss a thing. Now (esp) friend and I feel that with no odour, etc., it is indeed dirt, not mould, and I very much hope that this is the case. But A/C guy is coming to check it out anyway and if I have any doubts I am asking landlord to get co. to assess. So I wanted to have co. info ready. I like to Plan B things “just in case.”
