Participant“If you go out in the woods today …” No disguises needed as no danger lurks in TDK land. Some of our furries have their own stuffies, and the baby kitties are setting up a Teddy Bear tea party, even as the teen kitties are laying down picnic cloths for our own repast.

Not enough sleep, but nothing to do about it now LOL. Purrhaps will stay in woods today with kits and teddy bears. If/only. JerseyJoanModeratorGood Morning KJ! Younger of niece’s kitties has warmed up to me, haven’t had to go looking for him in the last few days. Forgot what it was like to see two kitties eating together – Leela and Comet have had separate eating stations for about 2 years!

The orange cat spotted at a local restaurant was not Lucy. But she has a lead from a man who has a scrawny orange cat hanging out in his yard. He can’t catch the cat (which would be true of Lucy, and many other cats I’m sure). Maggi is going to set up a trap, with food this time instead of just the scents of home (which I’m thinking might be less effective at this point). She’s also still spreading the word and putting up posters. God bless her!

Joan, I would like to visit Vermont Teddy Bear Factory at some point! Leela and Comet through wormhole almost like they are holding hands, with Teddy as chaperone. Mediator? 😉
I have some Teddy Bears, one was “model” for my starting to make sweaters so he has a seasonal wardrobe. Dorry not interested in them, but also had an alpaca Teddy that Nicky used to haul around. One day it disappeared, too large to be hidden by a kit, but we still blamed Nicky. Probably left of its own accord. At least spin instructor situation is resolved as in the guy did not say a word to me, as per my request. Did class, left, no saying thanks, no nothing. Class will in all likelihood be cancelled sooner or later, lack of participants, before all this I would have fought for it, now not.
Good thing that I did not have my backpack today. On way home beautiful kit, orange and white short hair, sort of like orange fur was blanket, pure white legs, amber eyes, extremely friendly, nuzzled my shin, rolled on back for tummy rub. Door opened and kit walked upstairs into a house. Guy petted kit but said it’s not his. I asked if it was stray, as defenseless, ie no claws, guy said sees kit around the ‘hood, thinks it has home. ModeratorGood morning all, loving the teddy theme. I had a deprived childhood(sarcasm) and never had a teddy bear, not until Airy gave me a little bear when I was in my forties and then she made me a bear. Awwwwwwww, what a sweetie. When the girls were just toddlers we won a giant teddy and were thankfully able to swap it for two large teddies so forestall the fighting. Those bears are still with us and for some reason one of them has been wearing a bra for a number of years.
Love the pic of Lucy with Pooh Bear and I and sending Positive Vibes for the lead to be Lucy. 😛
Oops, I’m a bad Meowmy, Shadz was on the balcony ‘killing’ a long piece of dry grass left over from the Summer and then it rained and I didn’t notice and let her in. Once I realised what was happening I discovered she had gone off in search of shelter and will probably be grumpy with me when I see her next. 😐

At the moment I have 2 happy nephew kitties, 2 happy house kitties, and 1 happy stray. Life is good.
It’s throwback Thursday on the classic tv channel – “Jaws” is on. I read the book before seeing the movie, summer reading in the summer of ’74 on the beach at the Jersey Shore. *cue the shark music* Da da. Da da.
