It has been a cold wet day and look like being the same again tomorrow. Good chance to catch up on the housework.
HRH is happy as long as I have a selection of food on hand for her to pick and choose from. 😕 She is really in to tins of smelly fishy food while her nose is stuffy.

I kiss my cats so much and get so much fur in my eyelashes but…well, I can’t stop. It’s an addiction. Little Peso has learned to like nose kisses, unlike his brother Willow. I forget to condition Willow to like nose kisses, but my favorite place to kiss a cat is under their ear on the fluffy part of their cheek. Sometimes I get teef in my mouth from Peso when he turns toward my face… 😆

Rainy and dark here today, but I welcome it. It’s been so hot…I’ll turn my fan toward you MS, you can have this heat and the humidity!! Supposedly, it will only be in the 70’s on Saturday–Woo Hoooo!

I have to remember to put lipstick on after I kiss my cats or furry lips! 😆

The weather peeps decided it going to be 100f/38c instead of a mild 98F! Anything above 90f/32c is just not worth discussing for me.

Awww that owl is adorable!

If I try to plant a kiss on Dorry I generally get a “WTF” glare. *Sigh*. He’s not the most affectionate kit in the world, must get that from me. But he’s mine – all mine! 😉

It’s a steamer in my n’hood today. And the A/C in the spin class room was not working. I love working out in intense heat, so I will not do my usual follow-up.

Anyway, headed on out again in a bit, and when I get back it would be a good plan to srsly work ere I face the dreaded “all-nighter”. Enjoy the pm all!

You know it’s HOT when your low is 81 :/

Thank goodness for the large ceiling fans on the porch, and for the new A/C system inside …… at least I work in comfort! …. I’ve been putting the girl’s wet food in the fridge for a while, it gets nice and cool – especially Caddy seems to appreciate that!

Time for me to get back to it – L8R all, have a great rest of your days!

I don’t like hot and humid either guys…I absolutely hate the way humidity makes me feel, ugh. It feels like walking into a wall of wet!

I think that owls look like cats with wings! Wonder how they got that owl to put its wings over its face. KJ, best be on your guard kissing Dorry..scratches and bites don’t go well with cat-eye eyeliner no matter what anyone says. 😆

Howdy hey, gang!

Glad to see others out there “enjoying” the weather! I made it out to the gym for my appt with a personal trainer today, and managed to snag Lilith a few cans of wet food on the way home too. There’s some GREAT news on my horizon, and next year could see QUITE a number of physical and emotional changes around here… *Crossing fingers!*

In the meant time, there’s a follow up on Tuesday, and then the ‘real’ work of changing my workout routines begins in earnest!

KZ, not to worry, I would never attempt to kiss Dorry without him making the first move hehehe! 😉

But I could have kissed a UPS delivery purrson. Just kiddin’ and it’s a lame segue. Today got email that skirt ordered yesterday was coming via UPS instead of Purolater (I prefurr Canada Post). Unbelievably when I got home this pm it was right by my door. How delivery purrson got in to secured bldg is beyond me, but whatever. Looks pretty and is longer on me as I wear it lower. Plus by chance I knit a cotton sweater in the exact jade green that’s in the print. In the meantime I scored another flowing long summer skirt at Winner’s. Dorry insists that I keep them both! Right. Anyway here’s the one I bought online – and yes KZ, those are indeed parrots LOL. 😉

I love to shower my kitties with kisses, even the outdoor gang!

Going to try to reposition my keyboard and monitor at the office & see if it helps clear up the crick in the neck problem. There’s only so much I can adjust it though, because the monitor isn’t supposed to be visible to patients. I’m up a lot, tending to patients, so it doesn’t seem to be a stay in one place too long problem. Might get a pillow too. The ergonomics just aren’t quite right.

JJ, I finally got rid of my painful neck, I really didn’t do anything, it just went away. It usually isn’t that easy and is caused by muscle spasms from something different I’ve done. I’m beginning to think I need stretching exercises before I go to bed since I don’t want to roll over or move the wrong way and piss my body off into giving me muscle spasms in my neck or back! 😆

Kincaid, it’s good to see you here! I know that Lilith is ‘livin’ the life’ and happy for you and your upcoming changes.

Awesome how wee Bruce “mysteriously” transformed into a stunningly handsome Basement Cat! Along with silver grey tabbies – black kitties rule! Tks for share and really interesting info PG!

JJ, you might want to get advice from a physio with experience in ergonomics. There might be some sort of neck support that might help. Or a better designed chair – although I don’t know how that would go over with your boss. Again just a thought.

Good afternoon all, or rather afternoon. It’s not a good day out there, overcast and grey and cold and damp. Typical Winter. Brrrrr
HRH and I have been snuggling together and she has been getting lots of kisses on the top of her head.
KZ, thanks for turning the fans my way, with any luck it should arrive tomorrow.
Yikes PG, 38C is stinking hot where I live and almost unheard of. COA warning on the wee owl with a frozen nose. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Great story about the colour changing cat. Shadz went from black to black with grey and white dapples and a couple of tiny patches of ginger. Airy lives with a young black cat called Bruce and an older ‘sister’ black cat.
KJ, some cats a cuddly and others aren’t but are still the best of companions and loving in their loyalty.
AV, you are keeping Abby and Caddy’s food cool while I have been warming Shadz kitten milk and meat.

Well done on making it to the gym, I didn’t go today as I have a nasty virus and don’t want to share it around. Lilith is a lucky kit. May your horizon get even brighter.
KJ, beautiful skirt. Maybe the UPS guy has heard about your Though she be but little, she is fierce title and didn’t want to test the veracity of it. 😀 😉
JJ, hope you can solve the neck crick/puter problem. Nothing worse than having a work related neck crick. Daughter Meegz has that problem and has spent a fortune on massages etc.
Mid afternoon and I will clean out the fire and reset for lighting later. HRH is back outside for at least the fourteenth time today even though it is drizzling.
PG, when did you change your avatar? I swear it was the usual one when I began my post.

PG, I just noticed your new avatar too! Nice to see your kit tree-o (as in cat tree – I know that’s pretty lame wordplay.)

I don’t have re heels (as yet!) but I do have 2 prs of red sandals. That skirt is clamouring for flamenco shoes. And red ones would be kewel. Hmmm …

JJ, I would think that the KISS kit is photoshopped. Wonder how long it took group to do their makeup.

MS it’s way hot/humid here I’m sure that there are many peeps who would most willingly send some of it in your direction. And re UPS purrson – could very well be true! 😉

I changed my avatar a few hours ago so it’s possible the new one showed up while you were typing, MS. That nasty virus needs to go away. Although it does give you extra cuddle and kisses time with HRH.
