George and I had a good night last night; he wore himself out before bed chasing his Cat Dancer and we both got a good night’s sleep (I don’t know about George, but I needed that). Mr. Kilroy has taken to George really well, which is great since he’s the one at home during the day.

George has started using the litterbox without my having to put him in the box; for the first 2 days he would only go if I carried him to the box and put him in it, which is why I worried about him having an accident when I wasn’t around. I know that still could happen, but at least now I know that he knows where it is and what it’s for (good kitty!).

Oh, and I took someone’s brilliant advice (sorry, can’t remember who, will go back & look it up) and asked some of Mike’s family members to help out with food for the party on Saturday, so things are a little more under control in that department. Whoever it was who suggested I ask for help, THANK YOU.

George has a vet appt tomorrow, just for a checkup, and Mr. Kilroy is going to take him. I wish I could, but it’s in the middle of the day, and my boss isn’t as understanding as GD’s 🙂

Thanks again, everyone. I don’t think George and I would have made it this far without your help.

Good News Kilroy!!! George is breaking you in nicely…lol. It sounds like things are falling into place. That is wonderful. I can’t wait to see little George. Have you decided to keep his name George?

I think he’s going to remain George, although he’s already picked up a couple of nicknames (all nice, I swear!).

I love the name George! I think it’s cute for a kitty. We have Fred(he was my mom’s cat) and we call him so many things. His main name is Bubby, don’t know how but it stuck 🙂 George is going to bring so much happiness to you and hubby.

I’m relieved to hear that things are looking up for little George. Isn’t it funny how many other names are pets are called? My ex-husband insisted on the name 120 for 120. I call him Shmooshie McFluffersons. 🙂

Oh, that is such good news, Kilroy! I’m glad George is settling in that you got him the Cat Dancer – that is one GREAT toy!

I like the name George – reminds me of curious George (or George Clooney – yum!)

I believe it was Sylvesterandmiasmommy who mentioned having your guests bring things for the party this weekend. That is always a great idea. I’m going to a party on Sunday where everybody is bringing something and it always turns out well.

    Hugs to George!
