    If/when it returns 🙂 Sounds like my type of place. I can even put together a unitard look – sleek black would work I think with knee high boots. Also sounds like a sort of “after party” sort of think (not that I’d know). Intriguing!

    KJ, you have just opened the Night Shift office! !
    Lights and ceiling fans turned on for the Southern Hemisphere peeps and the fire is lit and crackling for the Northern Hemisphere peeps, windows opened just a bit for fresh air, the kittehs are cleaning off the bar and the tables, putting out fresh candles on the tables, making sure all the glasses and bowls are clean and the peanuts/snacks are in their bowls…..that being almost done, the NS sign is turned on and the jukebox is playing whatever your heart desires tonight 🙂
    The fountains are flowing with whatever drink you desire and there is hot coffee,tea, and chocoilate to be had also. We have gateau and nibbles and baskets of fresh fruit also.
    Come on in and snorgle the agency kitties and back by popular demand Sven the masseur.

    KJ, anyone and everyone is welcome to the Night Shift office as long as they are awake when they walk in through the door.
    You can wear whatever you like.
    It can be a bit slow depending on how many Shifters are still up, the Southern Hemisphere Shifters are definitely up and about, in fact I am about to hunt down some lunch for myself.

    Oh MS … the honour … the privilege!!! A first for me!!! So here I am tricked out all in black except for the colour in my punk Ramones T-shirt. Rocking my (OK usual) sort of goth look, black eyeliner that is. Would like to hear some “Nick Cave” on the speakers. Would like to order the “Green Fairy” or absinthe – is it available. Would be another first! And how long will I have to wait for a massage with the legendary Sven? It’s just after 9:35 here – I will probably be up a while longer – even if it’s just for that massage ;-).

    I was just walking by the Night Shift Office and I noticed the lights are on and I heard the music so I opened the door a crack and it looks like a great place to relax for a while. The tea and chocolates sound wonderful as well as the basket of fruit. And if Sven should find himself overwhelmed with clients I would be glad to jump in and help as I too am a masseuse.

    I’m going to snuggle by the low fire with a mug of hot cider. There’s a batch of rain coming thru – just enough to be a bit raw and chilly. *a ginger kitty delivers cider & fluffs pillows* Ahhh, that’s better!

    Hi Joan! Feel like I’m in Wonderland! *dazed look*. And don’t want to leave. Lois will take you up on your massage offer, need some “rubs” like now, can try out the legendary Sven some other time. And when does the pogo dancing begin? 😉

    KJ, I’ll wash my hands and be right with you. I can work the kinks right out of those muscles and then we’ll do a bit of relaxation massage, it’s my specialty.

    Many people have drifted off to la-la land on my table, it’s a compliment you know. Now wrap yourself in this “virtual” soft blanket and curl up by the fire and watch the pogo dancing.

    Evening all!…. glad to see a NS, as we’ve been missing those lately 🙂

    ….. glad Sven showed, he’s really hard to book, but seems like he’s got some good associates! LOL

    …. my home made green bean stuff/thingy was a BIG hit at our family dinner tonite, and I’m excited about cooking for my new parent friends tomorrow! ….. I met my Brother’s cats that he’s been trying to ‘re-home’ tonite, and I think they might be a great fit for Dau, who is ready for a couple of furrkids! …. we’ll see….

    Oooh, thank you for the massage, LL – I didn’t even have to ask, you just knew!

    Just gave Leela her lysine treats and her fun treats, the ones she looks forward to. She has started to refuse the lysine treats, so I’ll mix them in with the good stuff. However, if I leave them by her cubby, she eats them during the night. Comet came by to see what was up, or to make Leela growl, not quite sure. He’s not food motivated, so it wasn’t about the treats for him. He just loves her so much and tends to check up on her. It’s really cute, but Leela gets so worked up about it!

    LL that was super. Right, I think that for my first Night Shift Office visit I’ll just watch those wild and crazy pogo dancers, and next time join in. I don’t want to undo the after-effects of that superb massage, and perhaps will just sleep here… Good nite all!

    Hellooooooooo! i’m back, i had to disappear to take some photos of Mum’s garden while it looks beautiful. Of course one thing led to another and now a heap of jobs later I am home and there’s no-one in the NS office.
    The green fairy is welcome in small doses KJ and black is the colour us Kiwis wear when supporting our teams when they are playing internationally.
    LL, thanks for doing the virtual massages because it looks like Sven was double booked.
    Joan the hot cider sounds great, is this hard cider or not. We only have hard cider here.
    Sweet dreams for those headed for bed.

    Good afternoon MS or good nite for me, in my case when one doesn’t know what to wear black works LOL. The after-effects of LL’s wondrous massage teamed with that “nip” of the green fairy are most soporific. This combined with what is a chilly night here in the Northern Hemisphere with the rain pouring in buckets, is hopefully most conducive to deep sleep, where perhaps I’ll dream of Verlaine, Baudelaire and wake up to write intense, incomprehensible French poetry. Or not. 😉

    It’s still quite warm here going on for 7pm. I have had to start watering the gardens already and managed to burn my dinner slightly while doing so. HRH Shadz is full of beans tonight(maybe she popped through the wormhole and sampled AV’s bean dish)and lurked behind a decking post and jumped out to ankle tap me as I passed by. She is now sitting on the deck surveying her realm and daring any other cat to step paw on it.
    Time for dinner, slightly charred chicken, salad and fresh asparagus.

    Evening all! I could do with a massage from someone. Had a tiring day out geocaching with my niece (Moonshadow’s daughter!) We found some great ones. But I’m exhausted. Just waiting for some spaghetti to cook. Made an interesting cauliflower based vege sauce to go on it. Not sure what the family omnivores will think of it.

    Was your interesting cauliflower based sauce from the latest edition of a certain magazine?
